Chapter 11

Charlie's POV

As I walk into my house I shake my head slowly.

"I ruined the whole thing, I'm so stupid" I say to myself.

"I just had to get all anxious at that moment" I shame myself even more.

I sit down on the couch and go on my phone to listen to music.

I feel a little different so I put on Disney music and Kiss The Girl from The Little Mermaid comes on and I can't help but hum it.

I then go on my Instagram and see that Trevor posted a collage of what we did today and the pictures make me smile.

The caption is what really gets to me 'I could not think of a better way to spend my day, Charlie can brighten up your day like nobody else she's the best friend ever'

I smile and wonder if I really make his day better.

All I really know is that I could not ask for a better friend than Trevor and I'm so glad that my mother took me here.

I then get a text from Him

Hey Charlie, today was great but now I'm alone at the o2l house I completely forgot we had a meet and greet today XD - Trev

I laugh and remember the meet and greet that my mom was supposed to take me to today.

I'm not upset we didn't go because this is so much better than a meet and greet.

I text him back.

Smooth one Trev - Charlie

I open my Instagram again and decide to post the collage on my account to.

I caption it 'Trev is amazing, my first friend in a very long time' and post it.

Then I get another text from him

I know we spent basically the whole day together but could you come over? And wear your pajamas, I want to watch a movie with you- Trev

As I read it I smile, it makes me feel good to know that somebody bothers with me.

I would love to come over, I will wear my pajamas!!! :) - Charlie

I change into my pajamas and start to head down the stairs with my phone in my hand.

My mom is sitting on the couch.

"Where are you going?" She asks me as she puts down the book she was reading.

She did not seem mad, her tone just sounded a little concerned.

"I'm going next door to visit Trevor" I say looking at her with an 'I'm ok' look.

She looks at me and asks matter of factly "I saw him twirl you around in the yard earlier, is there something going on between you?"

I roll my eyes and say calmly "Mother, we are not dating and there is nothing going on, we are just friends and he is my first real one, don't you think I deserve one for once?"

And she just looks at me and nods, letting me know I can go.

I open the front door and walk over to the boys' house.

I approach the door and hear voices inside.

"I don't know..." Says Trevor's voice

"Trevor, it's really obvious that there is something going on and I'm not sure the fans really like it" says an unfamiliar voice.
