Chapter 5

I am almost positive that my heart is beating so hard the ground is shaking as Ricky slowly opens the door.

Kian and Jc are playing Mario Kart while Sam watches with interest.

As I walk in slowly I can see Trevor sitting on the counter in the kitchen drinking an Arizona tea.

Nobody but Trevor notices me when we walk in, Kian and Jc are to absorbed in Mario Kart, and Sam is so caught up in watching them play that he doesn't see me. But Trevor's eyes never leave me as Ricky leads me to the couch.

As usual I naturally create an awkward situation and I'm not really sure what to do so I just stand there by the couch and watch Ricky go up to the television and rip it's cords out of the wall.

"We have a guest" he said, folding his arms sassily as the Kian and Jc finally notice me.

Sam gives me a warm and welcoming smile and Jc playfully sticks out his tongue at me which makes me smile.

Jc and Sam did not seem surprised that I was here but Kian looked very confused. "Not to sound rude...but who are you?" He asks, his voice trailing off towards the end of his sentence.

"My name is Charlie, I live next door, I moved in today and Ricky was filming outside then he invited me over to introduce me to everyone" I speak for the first time in front if all the boys.

Kian finally seems to understand and he then simply nods and sits down on the couch again. "I would have won Mario Kart already if it wasn't for RICKY" he says to Jc putting emphasis on Ricky.

The mood is immediately lightened and everyone on the house including me bursts out with laughter. After so long it feels good to really laugh.

They set the TV back up and begin playing again.

I look in the direction of the kitchen and find that Trevor is still watching me.

His blue eyes seemed to burn into my hazel ones and something passes between us in that second.

I immediately feel guilty that Trevor is the only one I have not greeted yet. Somehow I don't know what I should say to him and I find myself overthinking it, this only leads me to stress more.

"Ricky, I'm feeling a bit tired, I might head back to my house now... I don't want to invade you space or anything" I say as I head for the door.

He grabs my wrist "Don't go back yet, we invited you over so we could get to know our new neighbor, just let Jc and Kian finish their game and we have something fun planned, I can get you some food and maybe you and Trevor could talk while we wait for them"

I sigh "alright, but only if you make sure it is some pretty good food" I giggle and snort a little which I hate so much and immediately regret laughing. Ricky laughs and apologizes "Im so sorry but that is too adorable" I hold back a laugh and follow Ricky to the kitchen.

I feel Trevor still watching me and I finally make up my mind to introduce myself.

"Hi Trevor, I'm Charlie, I live next door" I say with a warm smile and feel my cheeks going a bit red, though I'm not really sure why.

He returns my greeting "I'm Trevor... Well I um... I- I guess you knew that" he says as his face turns bright red with blush which makes me giggle a little.

Ricky shows up with a plate of leftover Taco Bell and an Arizona Tea. He hands it to me and I smile at him. "Thanks Ricky" I say.

He walks away and I set my food on the counter so I can boost myself up onto the counter so I can sit next to Trevor.

I find myself not to hungry and decide to just slowly drink my Arizona. I open it and take a tiny sip.

Trevor looks at me saying "Do you like scary movies?" All I can think is 'oh no' but I push that aside 'I'm in a house full of boys now' I think and then say "They're OK but they tend to do what they do best and scare me"

"Well then prepare to get scared, Ricky planned for us to watch one once the guys are finished playing" he whispers in my ear.

'Why is it always me' I think while taking another sip of my Arizona..

"Thats just wonderful" I sigh sarcastically.

"But I'll still do it" I smile as I say the last words.
