My Someone

Chapter 1

AN/ I know I'm not gonna get any reads or anything but I'm writing this story simply because I love to write/

When I get home from school my mother is at the dining room table doing something for her work.

As usual she does not notice me when I walk in so I just set my backpack down and run to my room, grabbing my laptop.

I open YouTube and quickly find the newest our2ndlife video. today is Trevor's day to upload.

The video is about his 5 wishes and he opens talking about last week when he uploaded a somewhat sad video. "Maybe we are all a little closer now" he whispers at the camera with a smirk.

I cannot fathom how these boys make me feel. they can make me laugh and cry at the same time. And I have not even met them.

I close my laptop and remember that tomorrow is my birthday and sigh, wishing that is was not.

I always get payed a lot of attention on my birthday which I feel is not necessary. But I deal with it anyways.

After about 30 minutes of sitting on my bed, lost in thought I hear my mother scream my name from down stairs. "Charlotte, I need you to come down here" she screams again.

I scream "Coming Mother" at the top of my lungs and slowly trudge down the stairs.

When I finally reach the bottom of the steps my mother glances at me and then stands up "Charlotte, I have an early birthday present" she says to my dismay.

"Thanks mom but you know you didn't have to" I sigh approaching her with a look on my face that says 'I'm not in the mood' but she ignores me

"You are going to love it!" She screeches and I start to wonder if that is true but I know it's couldn't be. I just about hate any present.

She hands me a card and I reluctantly open it, knowing that I'll regret it later.

When I do open it I see a slip of folded paper that says surprise on it. I unfold it and read what it says inside.

'Happy birthday Charlotte, I have decided that since you have such a love for o2l that I will take you to the meet and greet two days from now in California'

I gasped and almost fainted. "thank you so much mom" I squeal. I have not been this happy in years.

"I also have another surprise, since my job here in Florida isn't working out, I will be moving to California to go back to school, I would like to be an art teacher. of course since you are only 14 you would move there with me." she says smiling.

"Mom, this might actually be the best day of my life" I give her a cheeky smile and hug her tight.

"I can't believe this is happening" I say, still in the hug. This might just be the only present I have actually liked.
