The men opened the car door for Ivan and Lilith, Ivan motioned her to go in first and followed her in after. They both sat across from each other.
"I actually have a job for you, Lilith. Here in New York. My son has become quite the trouble maker you see. He's around your age, I think, I mean I wouldn't know. Not around to be with him all the time, because I have an empire to run. I've sent him to a boarding school somewhere around here, and there is this teacher or...principal..whatever the fuck he is, has been given him and me some problems. It's a simple assassination job in and out. It'll be a good start for your first time working. Even though you work under me, I think with every hard work deserves a reward, so I will pay you a good rate when you work under me and extra for jobs like this. I will drop you off at the Continental, there you will have time to prepare yourself." Ivan that took out a manila folder with all the required information in completing her task, "Here, is all that you need. I expect that this shouldn't take you more than a few days, just keep me updated."
The car softly hits the break and came to a full stop.
"We are here." Ivan said.
His men opened the door and helped Lilith out of the car, they then grabbed her luggage from the trunk and handed it to her.
"I'll see you soon, Lilith." Ivan said, before closing the door. The cars drifted off and Lilith was now left on her own. She gripped her folder and walked over to the front door. The doorman opened the door for her, "Thank you." she said and the doorman nodded.
She walked in and saw the hotel running like any other. Men and women come and go, some lounged in the lobby room, but weren't there to stay. Staff members hurried down the corridors doing their jobs. The smell of cigarettes and alcohol filled the room. Lilith felt like a lost little lamb, once again. She entered the world of adults, and soon she will join them. She pulled her small carry on and walked to the front desk. The concierge was a tall man, had his glasses, and looked so serious. When she arrived, the concierge looked down and saw a young girl who looked out of place.
"Yes?" Charon said.
"Umm, I'd like a room." Lilith said as she gently placed a gold coin on the desk. These coins were given by The Director to help her out during her first time doing work, afterwards, she'd be making her own money.
Charon grabbed the coin and knew exactly what she was here for.
"I didn't expect you to be here so soon, Miss Lukashevich." Charon said.
"H-how did you know my name?" Lilith said.
"You'd be surprised how word travels fast." Charon then proceeded to give her the hotel key card, "Here is your card. It seems the manager has been expecting you, your room will be the penthouse on the top floor." Charon then took her coin and used his thumb to swiftly flip it into the hair where Lilith could easily catch it, " Consider this a treat from the Continental. It will be a pleasure to work with you, Miss Lukashevich."
"Thank you, Mr..." Lilith didn't know his name. In fact, he never mentioned it to her. She desperately tried to look for his name tag or a nameplate.
"Charon." he said, ending her desperate attempts to find his name.
"Yes, thank you, Charon." Lilith said.
Charon chuckled and went on with his job. Lilith continued her way and walked over to the elevators. Pressing the button she waited patiently. Once a free elevator opens, she quickly hurried her way in there and pressed the button to her destination. She waited a few seconds before pressing the button to close its doors. Just as the doors were about to close, a hand emerges, signaling the doors to open. A man comes in, a bit tired and ragged looking.
