Chapter 6

Alexis's POV

So, after a while of settling in our house, we went out to explore. Everything here kind of looks like the Institute of Perfection, but maybe a little different.

"Okay, guys. Val and I are gonna go this way," I told Nolan and Lou. "Do you guys want to go your own way?"

"Yeah, sure. Come on, Lou," Nolan said as he and Lou walked their own path. I wonder where they will be going.

Nolan's POV

Lou and I just split up from the girls and are exploring everything. This place doesn't really look that bad if you stop and think about it.

I look over at Lou and see him look around nervously.

"You okay, buddy?" I asked Lou.

"Yeah. I'm fine," Lou said.

"Are you sure? You look a bit nervous," I stated.

Lou lets out a sigh and looks at me.

"I'm just worried. The way Ajax knew my name gave me the chills. I don't feel safe around him," Lou stated. "And what if Val doesn't feel safe, either? What if she feels like this place is where she and her sister belongs? What if she wants to stay? What if I never see her again?! What if this breaks our relationship?!! WHAT IF--?!!"

"Lou, calm down. Stop what if-ing and just think about this. Val would never leave you. Neither would Alexis. They would never leave any of us," I started to calm Lou down. And I think it's working.

"Yeah. You're right. Sorry," Lou apologized.

"It's okay, Lou. You just feel overwhelmed, I guess. But just know, we will always have your back," I told Lou.

Lou gave me a smile.

"Thanks, Nolan," Lou thanked me.

"You're welcome, Lou," I told him.

Just then, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see who was behind me, but what happened next shocked me, and Lou.

Alexis's POV

Val and I were walking around and passing by some hybrid dolls. I hope the boys are doing okay.

As Val and I were walking, something caught my attention. I see a girl doll with blue hair, along with blue bird wings, running around in an open space.

I tap on Val's shoulder and catch her attention. I point to the girl doll with blue wings.

Just then, I see the girl doll running away from two other dolls while laughing. One doll is a girl doll with black hair with black cat ears and tail. And the other doll is a boy doll with orange hair with orange fox ears and tail.

"It looks like they're having fun," I told Val.

"Yeah, it does," Val said. "You want to say hi and ask if we could join them?" She then asked.

"Sure, why not?" I replied, and then we made our way to the group of three.

And as we got closer, I was getting a little nervous.

I guess it's because we're going to introduce ourselves to new hybrid dolls.

But what surprised me was that the girl doll with blue wings looked in our direction. She looked at us for a while, until her eyes went wide.

"Hey, guys!" She called out to her other two friends. Once her friends stop beside her, they look in our direction. Their eyes then go wide as well.
