UglyDolls 2: One of Us (OC Insert)

Chapter 11

Val's POV

"So, this is what it feels like to be Recycled?" Lou asked as he and I sat down on the floor with Alexis laying down unconscious.

"Yeah. I guess. Alexis knows what it feels like. She's been to Recycling," I stated.

"Yeah. Because of me," Lou said sadly. "How are we going to get out of here? We still have to save Nolan."

"I don't know. But we will, somehow," I reassured to him.

Out of nowhere, we hear an alarm going off. And that only meant one thing.

"Oh, no. It's turning on," Lou said.

Just then, we see a grinding machine in front of us. Once it turned on, I picked up Alexis and we started running in the opposite direction. But that wasn't helping much sense we're being dragged.

"We can't give up, Lou. Keep trying," I told him.

"Val, it's no use. It's over for us," Lou said as we stopped.

I then look at the grinder and back at Lou. We both hug with Alexis in between us as we get ready for our end, until...

"Guys!"

We look up and see Berkly, Cassy, and Felix standing at an opening. They're going to help us.

"Berkly! Cassy! Felix!" I said with excitement.

"Wait. You know these dolls?" Lou asked me.

"Yeah. They're our friends," I stated.

Berkly then turns around and looks at something, or someone, from behind them.

"Okay, now," She said.

Who was she talking to?

Just then, we see Moxy, Mandy, Lucky Bat, Ugly Dog, Wage, and Babo hold hands and create a rope for us to grab on to.

Berkly then goes to the end and reaches out for us.

"Quick. We don't have much time," Berkly told us.

Lou grabs onto my hand as he reaches for Berkly with his other hand while I hold Alexis close to me. And once Lou grabbed onto Berkly's hand, we all get pulled out of Recycling.

Once we were out, that was when Alexis started waking up.

"What happened?" She asked.

"We were put into Recycling and we made it out alive. Thanks to our friends," I explained as I gestured to Berkly, Cassy, Felix, Moxy and the others.

"Wow. Do you know what I have to say to this?" Alexis asked me.

"What?" I asked curiously.

Alexis then gives me a playful grin. "Now you know how it feels."

"Oh, stop it. You weren't even awake when it happened," I told her.

We then look at our friends.

"How did you guys get here?" I asked them.

"It was Ajax. He and an army of hybrid dolls invaded Imperfection," Moxy stated.

This shocked me. I guess they did invade our home.

"We were all hiding, making sure that we don't get caught. But, we found these three," Moxy continued to explain as she gestured to Berkly, Cassy, and Felix.

"Well, actually, we found them," Cassy corrected.

"We stayed behind in our home, but we decided to help you guys. We went to Imperfection to find help, and that was when we found your friends," Felix explained.

"Almost everything is destroyed. Ajax is planning to destroy the portal to the Big World," Mandy told us.

Now I was worried. 

"We need to stop him. But we have to hurry," I said.

"Yeah, but I have one problem," Berkly said.

"And what's that?" Alexis asked.

"We don't know how to get there," Cassy told us.

"It's okay. Because I do," Alexis then said.

"How?" Lou asked.

"Last time I was put in Recycling, all of the UglyDolls and I went to Perfection for the Gauntlet. Remember?" Alexis replied.

"Oh, that makes sense," Lou said.

"Come on, It's this way," Alexis said as she lead the way. "Hang on, Nolan. We're coming."
