Chapter 13

Alexis's POV

... It happened.

No. Lou didn't get stabbed. He stopped the needle getting closer to Val. That was a relief.

"You will not hurt Val!" Lou yelled as he kicked Ajax to the ground.

Ajax groans in pain as he stands up. But, he isn't in pain any longer once he reveals another needle in his hand.

Wait! Where did that come from?!

"It's just you and me now, Lou," Ajax said with an evil grin.

"And I'm waiting," Lou said as he held his needle and got in his stance.

That was when the sword fighting began.

They dodged every attack and managed to keep themselves from getting hurt.

"You don't have to do this, Lou. Join forces with me, and we'll both rule the factory together," Ajax told him as they fought. "You can forget about your friends and become the most perfect doll like you were before."

I could tell Lou was thinking hard about his decision. But he made his decision once he used his needle to strike at Ajax.

"I don't belong with you. I will never leave my friends," Lou said. He then looked at Val, who was still on the ground, and gave her a smile. "Not even you, Val."

Without warning, Ajax made his strike at Lou and hit him to the ground. Lou was now laying in front of Val with his needle out of reach. Ajax then started walking towards them with his needle ready to strike again.

"Wrong answer, Lou," Ajax said.

I had to do something. I can't stand here and watch them get hurt. But, once I looked at Robot Dog, I had an idea.

I quickly get out of the Hybrid Doll's grasp that was holding me back and ran to Robot Dog. But I could still hear what was going on.

"And you're right. You don't belong with me," I hears Ajax say. Once I reached to Robot Dog, I grabbed onto the chains and looked back at the others.

Ajax already had the needle up, ready to strike Val and Lou.

"You belong in Recycling!" Ajax yelled.

I got worried. I quickly pulled on the chains and got them off of Robot Dogs legs. Once they were off, Robot Dog ran in Ajax's direction.

Robot Dog growls as he runs, which catches Ajax's attention. Ajax turns around and sees Robot Dog coming in his direction. And before he could do anything else, Robot Dog chomps at him and holds him in his mouth.

Every Hybrid Doll gasps after what happened.

"Let go, you useless mutt!" Ajax yells as I run towards Val and Lou.

"Guys. Are you okay?" I asked them.

"Yeah. We're fine," Val said. I then sigh in relief.

Our attention then lands on Ajax, who was struggling to get out of Robot Dog's grasp.

"Give up, Ajax. You've lost," I told him. "I think you should tell everyone the truth."

Ajax then scoffs.

"What truth?" Ajax asked.

"You know what we're talking about. You've been keeping secrets from every Hybrid Doll," Lou told him. This caused everyone to gasp.

"What are you talking about?" Ajax then asks, not wanting to reveal the truth.

"Stop acting like you don't know. Dexter told me everything," Val said with a smirk.

Ajax looked shocked after what she said. He then looks in Dexter's direction.

"Is this true?" He asks.

Dexter looks down nervously. "Y-yes, Ajax," Dexter answered.

"You told everyone that Non-Hybrid Dolls are dangerous. But that's a lie. Val and I might not remember how our lives were like with the Hybrids, but we do know that Non-Hybrid Dolls are not dangerous. We know this because we stayed with them for a long time," I explained.

Every Non-Hybrid Doll looked surprised and started mumbling a few words to themselves.

"And now that everyone knows the truth, they'll not want be on your side anymore," Lou said as he glared at Ajax.

Now that we revealed the truth to everyone, all we have to do is find out what to do with him.

"What do we do with him now?" Val asked.

It was silent for a moment until someone finally spoke.

"Um, I have an idea," Said a very familiar voice.

We all turn in the direction we heard the voice and see Nolan standing in front of a curtain with a grin. He then pulls a rope, which opens the curtains and reveals the Washer.

Oh, man. I totally forgot we still had that thing.

Robot Dog then starts walking towards the Washer with Ajax still in his mouth. Ajax looked pretty scared.

I then look back at Nolan to see him running in my direction. I then run to him as we had our arms out and embraced each other in a hug.

"I'm glad you're okay," I told Nolan.

"Yeah. I'm glad you're okay, too," Nolan said.

Everything was going perfect until...
