Chapter 16

The palace was filled with people as if an event is taking place, all the servants were busy in either cleaning or cooking, few people roaming here and there.
Farha made an entry into Queen Bilkisu's chamber before she gestured the servants to give them some privacy.

"Umma what's going on in this palace why so many people? Is something happening today?" She asked in one breath
"All I know is that Faisal and Maryam are coming over (Abba and Momma)" Queen Bilkisu said taking a bite from the bowl of fruits placed on the centre table.
"Who are they?" Farha ask taking a seat near Queen Bilkisu

"Faisal is his royal highness's brother and Maryam is his wife"she said
"But why ?" Farha asked
"That I don't know for now, let's wait till they get here and get ready Ammar is also coming over"she said
Farha excitedly stood up and her face lite up
"Wear some modest cloth, you know we will all be present in the king's chamber" she said
Farha frowned and nod her head before she left to her room.

On her way she clashed with Abdul, he winked at her and made his way towards his mother's room.
"Assalamu alaikum umma" he greeted
"Wa alaikum mussalam" she answered
"Anything special happening today, the whole mansion is being decorated" he asked taking a fruit from his mother's fruits salad

"All I know is Faisal and Maryam are coming over and Ammar also,and that only means one thing" she said standing from her seat
"What is it umma" he asked
"Something is about to happen and I think is about Ammar" she said pacing around the room
"What could that be ?" He asked
"I don't know but we are going to find out, because the king has instructed us all to his chamber" she said
"Okay" Abdul said and left the room leaving the Queen with her thoughts

"Hauwa go and check if my daughter is ready" Momma said dressing both the twins.
"Okay momma" Didi said and made her way towards Amrita's room
"Sisto na ain't you rea...." Didi stopped in her tracks
"Oh wow masha Allah Rita you look fabulous" she complimented
Amrita blushes hard
"You too didi, you are way more beautiful than me" she said smiling

Amrita was dressed in a peach abaya, she tied her hair in a peach colour hijabi and Didi was dressed in a silver colour abaya matching with her hijabi.

They both went to the living room before they all left for the palace with Amrita's heart trembling, Didi held her hands in assurance, Momma's on the passenger seat while Didi and Amrita and the twins were in the back seat, and their escorts are both in front and back of car.

They arrived at the palace, the place was well decorated. They made their way towards the king's chamber,
His royal highness was seated on his throne and on the left side was Queen Bilkisu , Farha and Abdul. Abba sat on the right side of the king , same goes to Momma, Amrita ,Didi and the twins went and sat on the king's lap.

Just then Ammar and Fahad came inside the room , Ammar was looking all handsome dressed in a white thobe while Fahad was dressed in a royal blue kurta , Farha was busy ogling at Ammar until Queen Bilkisu nudged her .

After they are all seated, his Royal highness cleared his throat and began the meeting with a prayer,
"The reason I called for this urgent meeting is due to an important discussion that Faisal " he points towards Abba
"called me on the phone yesterday asking for a favour that I should call a gathering today" he spoke in his husk voice .

"Faisal you may proceed" he said
Abba looked up to his Royal highness and nod his head
"Firstly all thanks to Almighty Allah for letting us see today and the things he has done for us, and I'm grateful to you also" Abba continue
"This gathering is called on because of some important issues that need to be addressed here" he said
Queen bilkisu rolled her eyes but momma saw her and smiled sadly at her

"The issue is about my son here Ammar and my daughter Amrita"he said
"What about them" Queen Bilkisu interrupted
"Hey bilkisu don't say a word again" the king warned as Bilkisu gulped down her remaining words
"We are all ears Faisal what is the matter"the king gestured Abba to continue.

"The truth is Ammar and Amrita are actually married, I mean they are husband and wife" he said
"What"both Queen Bilkisu, Farha and Abdul yelled both standing from their seat.
"Wai meye haka ne, seat down" the king ordered
Farha eyes were raging with anger though she was shocked, and confused, Abdul was angry as his eyes were so red .
The expression on Queen Bilkisu was unimaginable.

"What do you mean by that Faisal please clarify your words" the king said in his husk voice
"Your highness what I'm saying is the truth" Abba said and he narrates everything to them
The room broke into silence for some minutes as the king nod his head
"Hmmm Ammar why do you have to hide these from me" he said sternly

"Your highness , I did hide it from you but I have my reasons and please would you please forgive me for my mistakes" Ammar said lowly
His highness smiled which shocked the people in the room
"First I'm angry at you for hiding such an important part of your life from me but I'm happy" he said

Ammar raised his head and looked at his father in shocked same Goes to the people in the room.
"Yes I'm happy that Amrita is part of your life, for the first time I saw her, I knew she was a blessing to this family and even if you didn't marry her I was planning to get you two married together" he said

Farha burst into tears and left the room same as Abdul who left in a fit of rage.
"Nooo I won't let that happen " Queen Bilkisu yelled
"This flirty poor girl in this palace and the prince's wife, nooo I won't let this happen " she said in anger
"Can you please explain to us why" momma finally spoke

"It's been long I've known you for the hypocrite you are, so you wanted the throne to your self that's why you wanted her to pose as his wife" she said
"BILKISUUUU" his royal highness yelled
"I don't want any sort of madness in this palace, I'm making Amrita the daughter-in-law of this family and it's not a request it's an order, if you have a problem with it deal with that " he yelled as Queen Bilkisu glared at momma, Abba and especially Amrita before she stomped away.

"Don't feel bad my child" his royal highness console Amrita.
He looked at waziri and said
"Send an invitation to all the neighbouring villages, city and towns , to all kings that my son is getting married in 3 days" he said and Ammar glanced at his father shocked and Amrita as well, while Didi, Momma, Abba and Fahad were grinning with happiness.

Fahad and Ammar left the palace same as Abba, Momma, Didi , twins and Amrita left to their home as there are so many preparations that need to be done.
Finally Ammar and Amrita would be together

But will they actually be together ?
Will this be a fresh start of happiness for these two?
