037- "Surviving the Cut! The Rookie Nine Together Again!"

Team 7 opens its scrolls inside the tower, summoning Iruka to inform them that they made it in time.

"Huh?!" Y/n stared dumbstruck.

"W-What's going on?" Sakura questioned.

"It appears you all had a rough time of this,"
Iruka smirked.

"What?! Why are you appearing with the summoning?" Naruto says shocked.

At the end of the second test, we Chūnin are to welcome the test-takers. It so happens, I got the important task of being the messenger for you guys."

"Messenger..?" Y/n mumbled.

Iruka pulls out his stop-watch and smiled, "Just in time."

"Everyone, congratulations on surviving the second test. To celebrate your passing, I would like to take you to some Ichiraku ramen, but..."

"Ohh... cool!" Naruto and Y/n get excited and rushed to hug him.

"Uh-oh!" He says.

"Hey you guys?!"

"Ramen! Believe it! We did a good job!" Naruto chants.

"I believe it! We're the best, ramen ramen!" Y/n dances to herself.

Sakura and Sasuke collapses on the floor from exhaustion and relief.

"They have so much energy." Sasuke sighed.

"Yayyy!"

"Come on, Sasuke. You know you want some ramen," Y/n leaned down to him, his cheeks grew slightly red, only causing Y/n noticed she gave off a smile.

"Uh—shut up," he responds.

"That scattered brain parts sure never change with you too, huh?" Iruka smiled.

"Humph, I see. If we had look at the scroll in the middle of the test, what were you going to do, Iruka Sensei?" Sasuke smirked.

"Sasuke, your the sharp one, as usual. He picks the scroll. The purpose of these rules were to test your conclusive mission execution ability. To put it simple, if the scrolls were to be opened.."

"If they were opened..?" Sakura questioned.

A grin grew on his face. "If the scroll was opened, I was ordered to knock unconscious the test-takers in front of me until the end of the exam when summoned."

"I see.." Y/n giggled to herself.

"Good thing you didn't open the scrolls," Sasuke says.

"Kabuto, thank you!" Naruto nervously laughed.

"Phew! That was seriously a close one."

Iruka observes their growth, then allows them to enter the main room, where they meet with the other passing teams: Team 10, Team 8, Team Guy, the Three Sand Siblings, Team Kabuto, and Team Dosu.

Meanwhile, The Third Hokage briefly speaks about the exams and leaves Hayate Gekkō in charge.

Overall the Shinobi were quite shocked of the remaining test-takers. The strength in this kids were extraordinary. Shocking most the Hokage himself since the remaining were mostly the rookies.

"I see why the recommended this group of kids," he muttered to himself.

"All right. Before the explanation of the third test that will start from now, I just have one thing to tell the outset... about the true purpose of these test. Raising the levels of shinobi and friendship among allied nations. The test so to speak... A microcosm battle between allied nations."

Everyone grew shock, as in the test-takers at that.

"If we look back on the history, The allied nations of today were once neighboring nations. These test are to selected to be worrying in battle. Display your talents by fighting each other off."
