Chapter 5Set ups, Back stories, and FIFA

Lily's POV

After the "almost falling on my face" incident, we decided just to chill at Roni's house for a while longer. We talked to her mom and she said that Roni could come on the tour with us. After going to help her pack her stuff she would need for the weekend, we found the boys playing FIFA in one of the separate rooms in the basement. I'm not the best gamer to put it politely. Neither were Roni or Maria. So we kind of just sat and watched them play.

Taylor was giving me glances every couple minutes. He made his stupid noises and comments but always checked to see if I was laughing or I was looking at him. Most of the time I tried not to because I didn't want to lead him on to something I don't really know myself. So far, I could tell that not only Taylor, but Nash, and Shawn have been acting kind of strange around me in the past what two days I've known them. I don't want to assume and mistake it for flirting because it probably isn't. Maybe they are just a little weird but hey, who isn't.

I stopped thinking about these things when I noticed that Roni kept staring at Johnson after about ten minutes. It was making me a bit curious. Did she like him or something? I don't care but I kinda want to know. I nudged Maria who was sitting beside me on the couch that was to the right of the couch in the center of the room that the three of us were sitting on while the boys hogged the other one. I motioned with my head towards Roni so she would look at her. She looked and nodded her head with confused face as if saying that she didn't know why she was staring at Johnson either.

The boys were kind of busy, so I figured that it would be fine to ask her about it now. I slightly bumped her shoulder and she raised her eyes at me confirming that I had her attention. "You have been staring at Johnson for a while. Do you like him or something?" I asked in a hushed tone. Maria was turned in towards us as well since she was wondering what the staring was about as well.

"Pht, no" Roni said dragging out the endings of her words. "Ya lyin" Maria said smirking. "Ok, so maybe I do? I don't know. He's never really shown much interest in me. I mean I have met him before obviously but, we've never had an actual full on conversation."Roni said sighing.

"Well, why don't we try to change that this weekend. Magcon is in two days. Plus, you will be coming on the rest of the tour. So, you'll have plenty of time to get to know him then and decide weather you really do like him or not." I said. "Just don't do anything crazy to try and set us up." Roni said laughing a bit and leaning back on the black leather couch.

Immediately, Maria and I's heads shot up to meet each others eyes. Well now that she said we shouldn't do something crazy, we have to. I nodded my head in excitement while Maria quickly changed the subject so Roni wouldn't suspect anything. I casually took out my phone and went to messages to text Maria about what we could do to get them alone.

Carter's POV

The guy's and I were hanging out in the living room like usual messing around and everything was fine. We switched to the basement where ithere were a bunch of couches. It was similar to the living room but it was bigger. Lily, Taylor, and Johnson have been gone for a few hours. It was around 3 in the afternoon when they left and it's now 6 at night.

I know that Taylor's cousin doesn't live that far away. Maybe ten minutes? Relax Carter, they are probably fine and having a good time. I know I sound protective but I just want to protect her. She's making friends on her own without you. She's with Taylor and Johnson so she's safe. But neither of them know. No one knows.

Lily has always been the stay at home type. I pay attention more than I lead on. I know that she was bullied in school and had cut herself before. She thought that because I was so busy with magcon, that I wouldn't notice. But i did. I have always kept a careful watch on her.
