Carter's POV

I'm having a mental breakdown because of the conversation that just happened. The phone wasn't on speaker so no one else heard what happened thank God. I do want to tell them but I don't want to drag them into this. They'll probably be safer knowing about whats going on though. I took a deep breath and put my phone away. "Hey guys, I need to tell you something."I said. Here goes nothing.

~meanwhile~

Nash's POV

As we walked hand in hand to our first stop, I felt like I was on top of the world. There wasn't anything that could bring me down right now. "So, where to first?"Lily said smiling brightly up at me. "Well dear lady, that, you will have to wait for until we arrive."I sad with an accent making her laugh. Gosh, I love her laugh. It's so loud and crazy but it's still full of happiness and sweetness.

"Come on Nash. Please?"She asked dragging out the "e". "How about a hint instead?"I asked raising an eyebrow towards her on my right as we walked down 47th Street. It was filled with stores and shops. The first stop I planned on taking her was the store that sells every instrument known to man since she loves music so much.

We were just walking side by side at the moment. Our hands brushing every once in a while. I swiftly took her hand in mine and laced our fingers together. She seemed shocked at first but then gripped my hand back securely. I could see the redness in her cheeks as she turned her head toward the street to try and hide it from me.

I smiled to myself not wanting to embarrass her. We weren't talking but the silence was more comfortable than awkward which I was grateful for. I less her on as we turned the corner. The music shop was a few doors down from where we were at. We arrived a few minutes later and I stopped walking making Lily stop as well.

"Here we are."I said quietly taking in her expression. "Wow."She whispered. I smirked in satisfaction of our first location I chose. The store was a huge building made of glass. It was that tough glass though that cant be broken by someone clumsy like myself falling into it. You could see every instrument on display. It wasn't a big store but it was tall with 5 floors towering over the street.

I have never been inside before, but I have heard alot of good things about it. "Shall we?"I asked. She nodded in response with her mouth slightly hung open in awe. I chuckled to myself as we walked inside and the little bell above the door rang signaling that we entered. "This is better than pizza Nash." She said looking at me with such admiration and happiness.

I couldn't help but laugh at her quirkiness but gave her a smile afterwards. "I'll take it you like it?"I asked as she walked away from my side towards the back of the first floor. "I love it."She said emphasizing "love". I went after her and watched her as she gasped inwardly when she found a pathway that led outside to a new looking red piano in a gazebo type of structure filled with wind chimes and the ceiling was made of glass as well with little designs in it.

She ran towards it like a little kid which made me smile that she wasn't afraid to be herself around me. She quickly took a seat and opened it up. I walked down the path and into the small building. "Sorry about that. I just have never seen a red piano up close looking so new."She said not meeting my gaze.

"Ha don't worry. I get it. I like when you act weird."I said not meaning for the last part to slip but luckily she gave me a wicked smile. She lightly placed her fingers on the keys and began playing an unfamiliar tune. She closed her eyes and began to sing.

"Hello there, the angel from my nightmare
The shadow in the background of the morgue
The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley
We can live like Jack and Sally if we want
Where you can always find me
We'll have Halloween on Christmas
And in the night we'll wish this never ends
We'll wish this never ends" She sang.
