Lily's POV

To say I can't handle bad news very well is an understatement. When Carter told me all about who I really am and details about our family past, I ran. I wasn't really sure where I was going since I haven't lived in North Carolina for very long. I ignored Nash's calls to come back. I also ignored the fact he was chasing me down.

I was ignoring him for two reasons. One, because I just wanted to be alone or not around anyone that knew about the situation. Two, I'm still pissed off about how bitchy he was being at the music store. He took a perfectly great date and ruined it. Carter helped with that but that wasn't all his fault. He could have told me but I don't want to think about that right now.

I sharply turned corners and down alleys to try and get Nash off my ass but him and his long legs were making it practically impossible. I even hopped over a fence but he did it 5xs faster than I did it and didn't fall on his face during the landing. Finally, I saw the way I could escape. I saw a huge wall with a rectangle sized hole inside what looked like a 12 ft wall.

I could probably just barley fit through it meaning there was no way Nash could with his broad shoulders. I looked behind me and saw he was further away than I thought. I was starting to slightly get tired but I used my anger to fuel my speed. Cheer is also giving me an advantage. I used to have to run for hours for conditioning. Looks like it's finally coming in handy.

I sped towards the the wall as fast as I dared so I wouldn't end up smashing my face into the wall in the process. I put my arms through the hole and hoisted myself through it. On the other side were a few trashcans conveniently to brake most of my fall. I rested my hands on the trashcans relying on my balance to take over.

I pushed my legs through the rest of the brick wall and kicked off. I shifted my hands and snapped my feet down landing standing straight. That was much easier than planned but I didn't question it. I stood up on the trashcans to meet a pair of angry blue eyes looking back at me. "What the actual hell Lily."He said frustrated breathing heavily. As long as he was alright and didn't hurt himself, I decided he could get back to the others.

I simply turned around and kept running so I could get some distance between us incase if he actually did find some way over the wall. I had a feeling it wouldn't be any time soon. I ran out of the other end of the alley and turned left. I continued until I started to hit country houses. I slowed down realizing how far I went. They were regular sized houses but they were cute.

I began walking instead of running not exactly sure as to where I was going but I just had to stay on the move and not think. If I think to much, my wrists will start itching and we know where that will go. I took in my surroundings more carefully and noticed a field up ahead.

I made my way to it and there was a large tree looking over the lake. I could see Nash and I's house from here. I took a seat on the patch of soft grass, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath. "Lily?"A voice asked. My eyes shot open and I looked around not seeing anyone. "Up here love."The familiar voice said. I looked up to be met with baby blue eyes and a blond quiff. "Hi Luke."I said smiling. Maybe he is just what I needed right now.

Nash's POV

I started to panic once I lost her. I knew I shouldn't have acted like such an asshole to her infront of the music store. I just got so jealous I lost control. I need to find her. I pulled my phone out hoping I would hear her ringtone but it went straight to voice mail. Carter is going to kill me.

But what else am I supposed to do? I have looked for her for the past hour. I guess I have no choice. I dialed Carter's number and began explaining. He interrupted me when I told him about her running away. "What the actual hell Nash! Are you shitting me right now? Do you even know how much danger she is in right now? Never mind, don't answer that. Just, where are you?"He interrogated at 100 miles per hour.
