~Sherri's POV~
I've been staying at Teri's for about 2 days. I can't lie, I love being there. She makes me feel better! I just wish she could come with me to face Kamar. I just don't want to face him alone. I slowly walked into the house "Kamar?", I looked around hesitantly without walking in, "Sherri?" He came from the kitchen with a surprised look on his face. "I didn't think you'd come back.."
I almost wish I hadn't come. "I just came to talk. And then I'm leaving."
I couldn't even look at him, "Sher-"
I interrupted "how long have you been cheating on me."
"What?" He said in a unsure tone.
"How long have you been having sex with that woman." The words tasted sour in my mouth, "Sherri." He grabbed my hands. "How long Kamar?" I jerked my hand away, "A month! But I'm sorry Sherri. Y-you were just so focused on the kids, and your job. You never had time for me." My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. I felt like I couldn't breath, this had been going on for a month and I never knew. "Where are my sons." I pushed him out of the way and walked into the house, "They are OUR sons." I turned and looked at him pissed. "They might be our sons, but I'm taking." I took a long breath, "I'm calling a lawyer tomorrow morning. Kamar. We're done." I walked up the stairs and packed a bag for me and the boys. "Sherri you can't just leave." He followed me. I didn't even look I him, I just kept packing, "Sherri please." I looked at him, the tears I tried fighting back came flowing down my cheeks.
"Kamar. I'm sorry. But I can't do this." I grabbed all of my stuff and put it in my car then, put the boys into the car.
~Teri's POV~
Sherri has been go for about 2 hours. I found myself sitting on my couch thinking 'what if she stayed with Kamar'. Just thinking about her staying with him made me feel so jealous. But I had to deal with it I guess. There was a knock on the door, "Hold on!" I set my glass of wine down and went to open the door. "Teri." Sherri said as she wiped the tears from her cheeks, "I-I could really use one of your hugs." I grabbed her arms and pulled her close, "you don't have to ask me twice" I hugged her as tight, and as close as I could. "What happened?" I asked holding her in my hairs, "I told him I'm calling a lawyer tomorrow." Her voice sounded shaky. I hate that he has done this to her, knowing there are other people better then he did. I moved away and looked at her "I'm here for you, and the boys, you can stay here as long as you need." I grabbed her cheeks, "And you aren't allowed to say no."
She nodded and I kissed her cheek and helped her get the boys and her bags.
We sat on the couch and watched the boys until she had to feed them and put them to bed. Once she was done we sat on the couch for a while and had some wine, "Hey since I'm here. Want to work on some scenes?" She asked. I smiled and nodded, she pulled the script out, "which scene should work on?".
"Uh can we work on the scene when we are in the kitchen and talking about your half brother?" She nodded and found the scene. We started reciting our lines and I found myself staring at her. There was just something about her, she was just so beautiful. "Teri!" She looked at me with those big brown eyes, "H-Huh? What?" I was finally broken from my trance. "It's your line." She paused for a-little bit "if your too tired we can st-" I quickly interrupted "No. It's okay I'm just distracted.".
"By what? What's on your mind?" She asked in such a sweet and caring way, "By you." I said not even thinking, I quickly jumped up and turned around. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean you. I meant your lips." I paused and turned around, "I mean. Ugh! I'm just going to go to bed." I walked upstairs as quickly as I could. I was so embarrassed! I can't believe I just said that! I laid in bed for about 10 minutes, "Teri..."
