Chapter 22

Alexis POV

The snow began to melt. The spring breeze had long past and finally summer knocked on our doorstep. London's summer was hot but still had its rainy days. The more and more I forgot about how Morgan and Harry lied on how really knew each other. I forgot about Ed's warning about Louis past. Everything seem to disappear. It was the middle of June and Morgan was at work. Harry had to do some "work" today so I kinda of just chilled at home. I was watching tv when a knock came from my door. Getting up, I open the door to be surprised. There stood Aaliyah.

"Aaliyah! Hi. I had no idea you where coming over!"

Smiling she shook her head. She had a cute grey shirt on with blue jean shorts.

"Alexis! I was actually scared Zayn gave me the wrong apartment. I asked him today at work because I wanted to invite you over. I hope you don't mind."

"Oh, of course I don't mind." Was all I could manage out.

Shutting my door. I locked it. I had my phone in my pocket already.

"Yeah ill come over."

Smiling I followed her up the stairs. I was confused why we where going up two flights of stairs. Finally on the third floor she came to a door. Opening it she yelled out into what I thought was an empty place.

"Luke! Hey I'm home! I brought my friend with me too!"

My heart stopped. Did she really just say Luke? No it has to be someone else.
Soon Luke appeared from the back room.

"Baby! So happy you are home-"

His sentence stopped. His eyes widen a little at they hit me.

"Oh whose your friend babe?"

"Luke this is Alexis. Alexis this is my boyfriend Luke."

Luke stretched his hand out to mine. Shaking a little I shook it.

"Nice to meet you." He mumbled.

As we sat on the couch, Aaliyah just went on to talk about work and other things. Luke was in the kitchen looking rather shook up. I don't blame him either. Shit if Aaliyah wasn't staring at me I would probably stop trying to be so calm.

"Hey please excuse me. I need to go to the bathroom."

Getting up she disappeared down the hall. As I heard a door shut Luke's eyes met mine.

"Does she know what you are and what your into?"

Rubbing his face he shook his head.

"No she doesn't and I would like to keep it that way."

Shaking my head I bit my lip. This was a chance to put and end to everything.

"Leave us alone then."

Raising a brow he glared at me.

"Are you threatening me?"

I felt scared. Yeah I was but should I be.

"I am. You leave us alone and your secret is safe with me. Aaliyah also won't get hurt."

His fist clenched.

"Listen sweetie your in no position to tell me-"

"You and your crew already broke the deal you made with Harry. So don't tell me I'm in no position you asshole."

Aaliyah soon came out.

"Sorry it took me a bit. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. I was just telling Luke to tell you I had to get going. I have some things to do."

Shaking her he's she hugged me and I said goodbye to both of them. Shutting the door, I quickly ran down the two flight of stairs to my apartment. Sticking the key in the door I felt someone grab my shoulder. I turned around and punched the person in the face. Only the person was Harry.

"Holy shit! Harry I'm so sorry are you okay?"

Moaning in pain I led him inside. He plopped on the couch holding his nose.

"Yeah I'm fine. Damn you punch like a man."

Laughing a little, I got a bag of frozen corn out of the freezer. Placing a cloth around it, I placed it gently on his nose.

"Are you okay Alexis? You look a little shook."

Sighing, I told him the events that had unfolded before he had shown up. When I finished he seemed a bit angry.

"Alexis why would you threaten him?!?"

"Because it seem right to do. Because I wanted to protect my sister."

Shaking his head he grew more angry. His eyebrows knitted together.

"Alexis you possibly just put her and everyone in more danger. You don't back a wounded animal in a corner. You just... Damn it Alexis."

I felt my self getting angry.

"Well at least I fucking tried to protect my sister!"

Pulling me into a hug he kissed my head.

"Your right. I'm sorry I shouldn't of got mad at you. I just.. You don't know him like I do baby. You have to be careful."

Shaking my head I pushed Harry away and looked at him seriously.

"Harry?"

"Yes?"

Sighing I knew this was going to hit a nerve.

"How do you and Morgan really know each other?"
