Prologue: Sweet Encounters
•
The classroom was filled with chatting kids, which painted a warm glow on top of the atmosphere that mingled with the air. However one boy continued to sit in his seat, a lonely look in his eyes as he stared down at the pictures on his camera. Pictures of dogs and cats were scrolled through, filling the boy's heart with a warm feeling.
Even when he was pushed by a random happy kid his gaze didn't leave his camera or his pictures.
"Sorry!" The boy apologized, him and his friends looking at the boy with smiles. The smiles began to fade as the boy said nothing in return.
"C'mon let's go." One of the boy's friends called, jogging away. The rest followed suit.
Even in the hallway the boy still looked at his camera, as if nothing else mattered to him.
"Prince Noctis, how many servants do you have?"
This piped the boy's interest, his eyes looking in front of him to spot a boy with black hair surrounded by girls.
"A hundred?"
"No way! More than that, right?"
"Then how many?"
"A thousand?"
The Prince turned around, his eyes closed.
"Prince Noctis?"
"Bathroom." He answered, still walking away.
The boy moved out of his way, a surprised look on his face. Quickly his face contorted to one of sadness as he let a sigh escape his parted lips. He felt another push as he grunted slightly, looking to his side and seeing a girl on the ground. A flower was nestled within (e/c) hair, along with a tiny bow on a bang above her right eye.
The girl shook her head, quickly getting up and picking her fallen items off the ground. "S-Sorry..." She muttered, moving to pick up her sketch book.
The boy moved down and picked up some pencils the girl dropped before handing them to her. "It's fine."
A smile painted her lips and her (e/c) orbs connected to the camera in his hand. "Oh? Is that um..."
"Yeah, it's my camera. Do you want to see some pictures?" He asked, and delight shined in the girl's eyes. Without another word spoken he scrolled through his photos and showed the girl the one he took of a dog.
"Aww it's a puppy...!" She squealed, giggling. "Thanks for this uh..."
"Prompto. Thanks for liking my picture."
The girl nudged Prompto playfully in the side with her elbow. "It's really good. Maybe you should be a photographer as the years go by." She slightly blushed and looked away. "Sorry for rambling, names (Y/N)."
With another smile thrown Prompto's way (Y/N) ran away, leaving Prompto with another happy feeling in his heart.

(Y/N) was always a girl that didn't really feel comfortable talking to others. She was used to keeping everything to herself, using the emotions she kept hidden from the world into the drawings in the sketch book she always carries. On the recent page a drawing of a peculiar flower was sketched all over the page; in a corner the words 'Water Flower' was scribbled.
Truth be told (Y/N) didn't know much about said flower, but decided that it's beauty was more than enough. As she opened the door her mother's violet eyes connected her own.
