She was ten minutes late for our meet up. We decided to go for our trip ten days later from that day. And today was the final day.

"Hey", I moved my head to the side to find her running towards me.

"Ten minutes late", I scolded her lightly as I kept my phone in my pocket.

"The train?", she asked looking over my shoulders.

"20 minutes late", I informed her.

"So are you going to scold the train for being late, now?", she chuckled.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"Whatever", I muttered, "Being with you makes me want to die"

"Why are you lying?", she asked.

"I am not lying. I truly want to die, now", I snarled at her.

"Truly?", she asked moving close to my face. And with a screw driver in her hand, she charged at me. If I hadn't dodged it on time, I would have ended up with my left eye destroyed.

"Hey?? What do you think you are doing?", I yelled at her.

"See... You don't want to die. If you had, you wouldn't dodge that", she said, keeping it back in her backpack.

"Anyways... Why do you have that?", I asked her, defeated.

"It was in my backpack. Before I knew, I was here. So, I thought I would use it on you", she replied, with a sheepish grin.

"Whatever... ", I said rolling my eyes.

The train arrived. We went in.

"What did you say to your mom?", she asked me.

"I simply told her that I was going on a trip with friends and that a guardian was with us", I replied.

"You didn't have to go that far to say that a guardian was with us", she said giggling.

"Of course I had to, or else, she wouldn't have left me", I said leaning towards the window. "Anyways, did you lie your parents... Or told the truth straightaway?", I asked her, eyeing from the corner.

"Of course I lied. Even if whatever I asked, my parents would wailingly give it to their child, but a trip with a boy, all alone is too big a thing and too sloppy a thing to ask for. Hence, I lied that it was a school trip", she bit her tongue.

"I can't believe that they believed you.", I commented.

"Just as your mom believed that you had friends", she said back.

"Well... For how long do you think it will be under the bushes?", I asked.

"If I think about it... I guess... Until we expose it", she smiled.

"I can't believe you just wanted to go this far to see the beach and snow", I said leaning on the booth.

"The things that are normal to most aren't normal to some. I want to live a life that normal children have lived and adored. Even if it's a lie, I want to live in a world, where I have time to be normal. These words don't make sense... Why am I even spewing them?", she sighed. The smile still remained.

"Guess I have no choice but to accompany you", I said looking out.

In a few moments, she took out her red diary and clutched the pen between her teeth, before putting the diary on her lap. She tied her hair into a bun and released the pen.

"What are your dreams?", she asked me, clutching her pen tightly between her two fingers.

"I haven't thought about them", I sighed looking out.
