"Whaaaaaaaat?", her voice turned nearly all the other people towards us. I kept a mile distance away from her. I don't know this girl.
"We are so sorry for the inconvenience", the receptionist apologized for God knows what.
She shot a look towards me and then focused back to the lady.
"Ok then... ", she discussed something with the lady and came back to me.
"What was the ruckus for?", I asked as she picked up her bag.
"Well.. There were some mistakes with our room arrangement, so they are providing another room to us.. It is only one room, tho", she said. I looked at her for a second.
"Whaaaaaaaat?", it was my voice now that forced the people to look our way.
"Oye...keep it down or we will be in problem like last time", she said wrinkling her nose.
"But, I can't share a room with you", I roll my eyes.
"Why? I am okay with it", she said, huffing.
"But I am not. Oh gosh. You are so innocent... Your innocence almost blinds me.", I said rubbing my eyes.
"Love is blind", she said walking ahead.
"Hain?", I looked at her, shocked.
"Haven't you heard that Shakespeare's line?", she said turning her head back to me.
"Oh yes. I have", I said focusing back on my bag.
"Oh here it is", she said stopping by a room. "Woow... This is so beautiful.", she exclaimed looking around the room.
"Of course it is. It is far beyond what we can afford. Thanks to that small mistake", I said placing my bags near hers.
"See see.. There is the beach. Oh my god.. It is so beautiful", she exclaimed like a kid pointing out to the Marine Drive. "This bed is so fluffy and comfortable... I could fall asleep anytime. Don't you want to jump on it?", she asked falling on the bed and shooting a stare at me.
"I will jump on the bed afterwards.", I said as I unpacked my bag.
"Well... Do you want to have a shower first, or should I head in?", she asked sitting up, now.
"You can go in", I said and the next thing she did was, she unpacked her bag, took out a pair of pajamas and headed in.
It was 9.20 PM.
I fell on the fluffy bed as I opened my phone. My fingers hovered over my dad's name. I don't want to let go of him. But, his actions are hurting. I sighed as I crushed the pillow under my head before calling up mom.
Giving her a short note of my well being, I dropped the phone on the bed.
"Oye... Listen", I heard her call from the bathroom.
I knocked on the door and asked, "What is it?"
"Listen, I left the facewash in my bag. It must be in the small pouch. Please give it to me", she said.
"Okay", I said.
Searching a girl's bag is too risky. Unwanted things might pop up anytime... And would cause embarrassments. While searching through her bag, I came across a small blue bag. Might be it. As I opened it, I saw hundreds of medicines clustered together. The sight of these medicines, did something to my mind. I was unable to think, now.
They were in so great numbers.
Besides the cluster was the facewash.
I got to my feet and opened the washroom door, just a bit and pushed the facewash in.
