Chapter 27: Down the Drain

Ross's POV

Now I'm back at Maia's House.

Why you ask?

Let me tell you the WHOLE story.

So in the morning, I got this text from Maia.

"I got another offer for you, accept it and Laura will be spared, if not... I think you know what."

With a address at the bottom.

I changed and left the house, after leaving a note on the table that I went out to meet up with Calum.

I guess the address is Maia's House.

Hope this is something good.
I don't want that again.

I realized the house was empty.

"Maia? Where are you?" I said as I walked into the house.

A hand fell on my shoulder.
And I turned behind, shocked.

"Hey Ross, Sit Down.I'll go get you a drink." Maia said

"Maia, stop, just tell me your offer." I sat down.

"Fine." She sat beside me," marry me, and she'll be spared.

WTFREAK? No no no no no no way!!

"Uh-um" I stuttered, this can't be happening.

"Marriage is a c-commitment Maia, A-Are you Sure?"

I sighed in relief, hey at least I don't have to marry her.

But I have to date her.

"Good," she said and pulled me into a Makeout session.

Which I had to kiss back.

God, Please help me get out of this.

Oh Great Now Laura and I will never get back together.

"Don't tell anyone about this meet up," she told me and pushed me out of the house.

Now Raura is really gone.

Well, at least I'm taking care of her.
Keeping her safe is my top priority.

Better go tell Laura first.

I texted Laura to meet at this deserted Starbucks.

I ordered her favorite drink and ordered a frap for myself.

"Hey Ross, What's Up?" Laura came in, looking Perfect as always.

"Hey Laura, I need your opinion on something." I asked.

Here goes...

"Um Sure. What is it?"

"I like Maia."

Laura's POV

Well that's a shock.

"Really, Well Maia seems like a great girl, and she definitely likes you. I mean she gave her V-card to you. She really l-loves you. And if you really think that, then. Date her. "

Guess the Raia shippers should be happy.

"Really? Well good. I asked her to be my girlfriend and want to announce it on The Ellen Show today."

"You got onto the Ellen Show?!!?" Why didn't he tell me that?

"Yup!! it's gonna be awesome!!"

"Well congrats!!l

"And another thing.... Your coming along with me!!"

😳😳 "To be interviewed too?"

"Yes!!"

"Woo Hoo!! Yes that's awesome dude!! Thanks!!"

"Anything for you, best friend!!" We hugged and I screamed," wait when?"

"Well we have to leave in 2 hours, I'll pick u up?"

"Okay, Now I gtg get ready for this interview."

"Haha Ok, Byeee"

"It's gonna be awesome!! Bye!!"

I ran back to my car, face monotonous.

And drove to the beach.

I went to my secluded area.

And tears just poured out.

Ross's POV

I guess it wasn't bad on her part, she didn't seem upset.

I guess we'll forever be best friends.

Maybe it's for the best.

I just need to protect her.

And that's all I can do.
