Adrien's is sitting in class, unintentionally ignoring everyone again. He is thinking about his sister and father's argument the day before and what his sister said to him.
In all honesty, she was right. He could have easily kept in touch with her even when his father forbid him to. He had a phone and no one goes through it. Yet, he didn't for once text her. He kept telling himself it was all to protect her, but it was just to please his father and he also thought that she will be having more fun there than with them.
"A.. Adrien, are you o--kay?" Someone tapped him lightly on his shoulder and he turned to see Marinette's red face.
"Yeah. What's wrong?"
"Class is over. See? Everyone is leaving." He looked around, it was just him, Marinette, Alya, Nino, Chloe and Sabrina left. Nino was looking at him with concern and Alya gave an awkward smile.
"Dude, you haven't been yourself lately." Nino finally said.
"I..." The opening of the door cut him off. They all turned there to see... Sonia! What was she doing there?
She scanned all their faces and finally rested on Sabrina. She walked casually to Sabrina and gave a warm smile.
"Can you excuse us, please?"
"So...Sonia? You're back?!" Chloe broke into a wide grin and squeezed Sonia in a hug she returned.
"When? You didn't tell me you were leaving at all! Oh! How badly I've missed you. We have so much to talk about." Chloe said excitedly, still not letting go.
"I know, Chloe. I have something to talk about, that's why I'm here. But I need Sabrina to excuse us." Chloe turned sharply to Sabrina.
"You heard her, go wait outside." She ordered harshly.
"No..." Sonia stopped Sabrina and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry to exclude you, but there is something important I have to discuss with them alone. For now, please just wait outside?" Sabrina's down casted face brightened up.
"Sure." She hurriedly went out, leaving the rest.
"Sonia... What are you doing here?" Adrien asked, standing and walking closer to her. She quickly sidestepped past him to Marinette.
"I need advice from all of you. I know until now you've kept your superhero identities secret, but I think it's time it changed." Marinette's eyes shone. Does she know she's ladybug? Will she expose her in front of everyone?
"Now is not the time for such thoughts, Marinette. This is serious." Sonia turned to look at each of them in turn, stopping on Adrien.
"You all have your good qualities and bad qualities, but the truth still remains that you are good people. You've helped me a lot too, but someone really needs your help more now..."
"Hold on, Sonia. I don't understand what you are saying." Chloe cut her off.
"Everyone one here now is a mira..."
"Errr... WAIT!" Marinette exclaimed, rushing forward to grab Sonia's hand and lead her out of the door. Sonia suddenly stopped when they got to the door, bringing Marinette to a halt.
"Time is running out. Nooroo needs our help. You shouldn't be worried about keeping your identity secret, there's no need for that anymore. I made that rule thousands of years ago when I thought it was important, but now, I know it's just tearing you all apart more."
"Hold on a moment..." Alya spoke up for the first time. "Are you saying that Marinette is a superhero?" Sonia and Marinette looked at each other and Marinette begged her with her eyes not to tell.
"I've told you it's okay." Sonia whispered to Marinette before turning to answer Alya. "Yes. She is Ladybug and Adrien is Catnoir."
"What?!" Adrien and Marinette said in unison, staring widely at each other.
