(Intermission): We all know that the kwamis are handed down to new superheroes after the old ones are gone. Like, there were other ladybugs before Marinette... Just like others.
But, do we know how they came about? Who created them? Why they were created? Do they have an alpha kwami? I know... And I'm about to tell you!
Long long ago, thousands of years ago... There was only one superhero, Miraculous. Her abilities were limitless! She could do a lot of things like go back in time, change the past, teleport, control minds and even create beings to carry out all sorts of tasks.
But evil became too much in the world, Miraculous couldn't do it all, so she had an idea of creating little good creatures and splitting her abilities into them all so that she can give them to trust worthy people who can help her in different parts of the world to conquer evil.
She created little creatures holding each of her abilities and she called them kwamis. Because obviously, she is fashionable, she linked the kwamis to accessories (miraculous) people can wear.
Because she is always busy and wouldn't have time to start picking people who are good to take her creation, she took the accessories to a temple and gave them charge of it. They will pass it on to someone who will be called the guardian and the guardian will be in charge of who gets what miraculous.
But unlike how the miraculous is passed on to different people over time, after the first miraculous died, she reincarnates into different people so that she can watch over her creation and make sure they are not used to destroy the world permanently.

Adrien was quiet in class, too quiet that he unintentionally ignored everyone, even his best friend Nino. He's still thinking about what his father told him the day before. He is caught between doing the right thing and doing the sensible thing. Adrien wants his mother back but Catnoir wants Hawkmoth to stop causing problems and leave everyone alone. What would he do?
"Yo! Bro, are you okay?" Nino nudged him and whispered so the teacher wouldn't hear him.
"Yeah... I'm okay." Adrien whispered back, looking at the teacher but not really concentrating.
The bell rings.
Adrien is the first to grab his bag and run off. He ignored his classmates' concerned calls. He ran off to an alley and hid. He needed to speak to Ladybug immediately, but how? She can only come when there is trouble.
"Then it's time to make some trouble." He whispered to himself.
"What are you talking about?" Plagg asks.
"I need to speak to Ladybug. What can I do to get her attention? Burn a building? Scare people?"
"Woah woah woah! Why are you talking like you're a bad guy?" Plagg asked, confused. Adrien seemed hopeless.
"I just really need to see her right now. I'm going crazy."
"Well, you could go to the TV station and ask her to meet you somewhere. She will be watching the news." Adrien petted the kwami with his finger.
"Thanks. You're right. Plagg, claws out!"
Nearly half an hour after he went on air and asked Ladybug to meet him at the Tower, he is anxiously pacing and waiting for Ladybug.
"What's wrong kitty? No one is Akumatized." Ladybug suddenly appears behind him. He rushes over to her, hugging her.
"What's wrong?"
"There is something I have to tell you." He eyes bored into hers with all seriousness.
"T..tell me then."
"I... I know..."
"What?"
"I know who Ha..." Suddenly he loses his voice.
"You should think before you speak." They both turned to an unfamiliar voice. It was a girl their age, beautiful blonde hair and shiny green eyes... (If Adrien had a twin, she was definitely that twin). She was dressed in a foreign school uniform. Catnoir was dazed looking at her. Ladybug armed herself, not sure what is going on.
"Is she akumatized? She looks normal."
"I am normal." As the girl says that, Ladybug's yoyo drops and won't bounce anymore. It scared her. How can someone who isn't akumatized be able to steal Catnoir's voice and render her magic useless? What was going on?
Catnoir tried to speak but nothing came. He and the strange girl just locked eyes.
"Don't tell her anything yet. I am back now, I will set things right." She said pointedly to Catnoir. He didn't look like he understood, but he nodded anyway. She vanished.
"What just happened? Who was she?" Ladybug started to run in search of the girl but Catnoir held her shoulder. His voice was back.
"She's gone. I don't know what is going on anymore and I don't know what I can tell you and what I can't, but she's Sonia Agresté."
"Sonia Agresté? I have never heard of her. Wait! Agresté? She is Gabriel Agresté's daughter? Or maybe a relative?" Catnoir looked away into the distance. Everything has just gone wrong. Just when he thought that his father being hawkmoth was the climax of everything, he just found out that his...
"No, she is Adrien Agresté's twin sister."
"What?" Ladybug asked, shocked.
That's right, Adrien thought, his sister is back and from the looks of things, she's definitely not normal.
