Jason's POV

I couldn't think of a better way to come up with the conversation, I just decided to do it anyways.

"What about your boyfriend? ", I asked her nervously. Hoping my nee found crush would day something to make me happy.

"Me? I don't have one", she says after hesitating a little. "Why? ", I asked curious to know

"Well I like someone though, he is a senior, but the thing is that he has a girlfriend and I don't want to be a barrier between them, I mean, I don't want it to be because of me that their relationship would have any sort of problem ", She explained.

"Oh nice, maybe I could be of any help, anytime you need me though, don't hesitate to tell me", I said disappointed and she nods.

"By the way, who is this lucky person that stole the heart of an angel", I asked curiously, I didn't mean to sound all pushy but I just needed to know the guy my crush is crushing on.

"Uhh, his name is Jesse, he is a senior and he isn't in out school ", she said after hesitating again.

"Oh cool", was what could just come out of my mouth at the moment .

"What about you? ", she asked me with a charming smile that could melt my heart.

"Oh no, I had one though, in my past school but I don't anymore and I don't think I need one now", I lied.

"Oh owk ", she said, we had a little chat about the school drama we were rehearsing for the schools carol, and what our future ambitions were.

It was already getting late and I really didn't want her out of my sight.

"Would you be free tomorrow?", I asked her, hoping to hang out with her more.

"Yhh yh", I was already happy until it was cut short, "Umm, no no, I have plans with bianca and lilith tomorrow".

My smile turns upside down, "ohh, sadly I won't be seeing you tomorrow then, what about next? "

"Sure, I'll b free by next", she says. So Sunday it is,I'll pick you up early, I haven't thought of a time yet, I'll text you the time ", I said happily

"Sure, I'll b waiting for your text", she said smiling, showing of her perfect dentals. How could anyone ever resist falling for her?

I checked my wrist watch, it already really late, "its late let me drop you off", obviously I brought her, I have to make sure she goes home safely.

"Yes, its really late", she says while standing, I walked with her to the car and we drove off.

On reaching to her door porch, we stood facing each other, she was backing her door, about entering inside, I spoke up, "Good night kiara, sleep tight and sweet dream", she smiles, "you too"

I leaned over and pecked her, what I have been longing to do, with the expression on her face I can bet she didn't see it coming.

Her facial expression almost made me laugh but I  just smile and walked back to my car, waving at her, so she could go in, instead she just stood there watching me drive off.

I finally got home, my dad knew I was out of a date but he hadn't met the girl in question. I really didn't want him to meet her now, we aren't officially dating and besides she likes another guy.

I quickly took my bath, didn't join dad at the dining table, I already ate dinner with kiara, I picked my phone it was a text from andrew.

             Buddy🔥:dude, hope you would be home tomorrow, am coming over.
              Me:sure, am home all day, unless you have plans for us going somewhere.
               Buddy🔥:naa, we'll hang out at your place all day, mum and dad are going for a family function, they are going with Stephanie, I don't wanna go with them so I'll crash at your place tomorrow.
              Me:oh, alright then.

I plugged my phone and had a long night.

"Uhh, its already morning ", I sigh, mornings are always tiering and its very annoying. 

I quickly took my bath, i remember kiara told me she was going out with lilith and bianca, i was going to call her but i didn't want to disturb her, so i just decided to call her later on.

i slid into a sweat shirt and sweat pants, and headed downstairs for breakfast.

"morning dad", i tell him, with his face stuck to the newspaper, sitting on the couch, "morning", he says lifting his head turning to me.

"How was your night? ", i hear him ask, "it was peaceful dad", i replied him.

"So son, how was your date", he asks me, quoting the word date. He has been asking me about the girl i went on a date with but i didn't want to say anything about kiara yet.

Besides, she doesn't have feelings for me and am not ready to make any big deal outta this, so I'll just stay low and chang the topics any time he asks about bringing her over till we are officially together.

"Oh dad, have you had anything to eat yet? ", i asked him, totally changing the topic.

"Well, i had toast bread and milk, that's all, I left some for you also on the dining table, you can make anything you want to take it with, coffee? Well suit your self ", he said with his head back in the newspaper.

Oh sure, i was on my way to the kitchen to think of what to drink, i couldn't decide between coffee and milk, just then andrew called.

"Dude, am at your door porch now, hope you are not still in bed", andrew says over the phone, "naa, its saturday, i always wake up early on saturdays.

"Alright then, am coming in", he says and hangs up.
