There's a million stars in the sky that I'm trying to outshine.
It's one a.m., and I feel the radiant light glowing on my pale face.
In the middle of the city stranded without a care.
In the end when it all comes crashing down, my safehaven is here tonight in the city light.
The music blasts through my ears, the beat is my yellow brick road.
My life is here, the city I can't escape.
I'm just making a name.
One day you'll see my name in lights, like diamonds in the sky.
I'll be wearin' Stillettos and Valentino.
Until that day I'm here to stay.
