"Would we ever see each other again?" I asked as Thomas walked us to the door. He only nodded as a response. I casted a joyful glance to Brent, he grinned. "I hope so," Brent uttered, making Thomas crack a smile.

"Alrighty then...better get going," I uttered as we were now standing at the front door. "Thanks again for everything Thomas," I smiled.

"Don't forget what I've said earlier young lads," Thomas uttered as he waved at us. We nodded and waved back before turning around and walked towards west. I couldn't help but feel a little excited for our little adventure.

"We're lost!" Brent groaned as he ran his fingers through his hair. What's with him? basically we weren't lost. We just took the wrong turn that was obviously his fault. He dragged me here when he was holding the map...and now I think I am finally convinced that he wasn't really an expert on map reading. I sighed. He should have told me that earlier before picking the wrong turn back at the creek.

"No we're not," I snapped before turning my attention to the map I was holding. Thomas had given us one of his Narnian maps, in case we got lost. "We had to turn back and go the other way," I uttered.

"Sorry about that," He sighed. "Not really into map reading back in middle school," He confessed. I patted his back with my free hand as we started walking again. "I kind of figured that out already," I said as I smiled at him. I don't really want him to feel dissappointed for himself. He already had gone through a lot before.

"That's weird" I spoke, breaking the silence that fell between us after we finally were in the right tracks again. Brent turned to face me. "What's weird?" he asked, confusion was written all over his face. "There's no narnians around. I kind of expecting to see more narnians here in this woods," I confessed as I observed my surroundings. I couldn't but feel a little dissappointed. He mouthed an 'oh' and shurgged. "How far is the castle from where we are now?" Brent asked. I shurgged. "I don't actually know. The map doesn't says," Brent nodded. He knew as much as I did that the map wasn't as specific like the maps in our world. I sighed. "Maybe we were closer than we were before," I muttered as I made a quick glance at Brent.

I hope he knew what I really meant. I thought as I let out another sigh.

As the sky was now painted on blackish orange shade, I suggested that we should set up camp now before the world was entirely dark. Brent agreed and immediately made a campfire.

"can I ask you a question?" I nervously asked as I gazed at him. It was still awkward to be alone with the guy who I just called a gay earlier before. I pushed aside the thought of it when Brent uttered. "That's already a question," he stated, giving me his bored look while cooking our dinner ; mashroom soup.

"Two question then,"

"Alright," Brent nodded, still looking at the uncook soup.
I took a long breath before firing up the question that I was eager to ask him since the moment I saw him.
