Lexanie shared the apartment with her two pet snakes, a ball python and a corn snake. Despite being into dark gory video games and movies Olivia and her had developed a strong friendship over the past few months. Lexanie was the black sheep of the class because most peers were too narrow minded to understand her mysterious nature which Olivia started to enjoy a lot. It had been a week with her in the apartment which Olivia seemed not too comfortable with.

"how are you feeling today" Lexanie asked while handing her a cup of espresso.

"fine, thanks"she replied fondling with her mug "Hey Lex can you be honest about something" she added

"Go ahead"

"I really want to know if you are okay with me living here, I don't want to burden you, I promise I will move as soon as I find a job"

"hey no no no! you can live as long as you want, plus it's good to have someone with a lone wolf like me"

"Thankyou" she blushed.

Lexanie proceeded to ask her about what happened to her family that had bought her to such lengths, but Olivia had made up a story except for the part that her father was amnesiac. She told her that the parents had split up in a nasty fight and that her dad was slowly going insane with additional mental illnesses.

"schizophrenia on top of it, I'd rather die!" Lexanie exclaimed

"Me too, but as much as I want to be with him I would rather not be a burden anymore and hold my own weight myself" they looked at each other with a blank stare.

To Lexanie's surprise Olivia played with the ball python comfortably even though being her first time. "Does he ever bite" Olivia asked while making her peace with the red and white python crawling on her legs.

"only when he is frustrated"

"does it hurt"

"yea but it is way less painful than a cat's bite"

"really! then I'm relieved because I own a few cats myself, trust me you don't want to get bitten by them"

"cool" Lexanie smiled. There was something in that moment and that expression that startled Olivia for a split second. Lexanie's tone of voice was sensual and bit her lip too. That evening she had even proceeded to ask Olivia if she was gay.

Olivia was bisexual and she had discovered her sexuality along those months she used to party a lot. It had took her a while to accept that she was attracted to girls too.

There would be men and women but she had never truly experimented with a girl. Lexanie would look like your typical gay women, pixie cut, tattoos and purple dyed hair.
"So what's your type...in wemen" Lexanie asked shyly

"Ummm simple, but I'd like anyone with a good personality even if the ass and boobs aren't there"

"I see" she blushed and giggled

She hesitated before asking ,"Have you ever...done it with a girl"

"No Lex but I'd like to try someday"

"I could do the honors" she teased

"You're not serious are you" Olivia blushed

"I am" she smirked

"Ew Lex! Stop" she blurted and the two broke out in laughter. The rest of the day they played resident evil and ordered take out.

It has been a week since Olivia left and it feels like months already. Audrey has been my source of entertainment for the past few days and I am unsure how much more I can get out of her before boring her to her wits end. It is odd how she never gets bored from me, what do I even talk about because as far as I know I blabber on and on about absolutely nothing and most of it is ranting and complaining. As much as I want to slowly detach myself from her we seem to get closer and closer. The whole day at most , we spent talking over the phone. She wants to take me on a date next week, it would be a mall date with the monthly exhibition of new arrivals and handicraft. Reminds me when Katherine and I got married she bought me a handicraft bag with squares of different shapes knitted in it. I assume I still have it elsewhere in the useless corners of the house, *sigh*. RIP Katherine.

Late noon Keith took Lucy out for a walk. It was almost sunset and the sky reflected shades of pink, yellow and a spectrum of blue with a sprinkle of starts visible if you focused enough. Keith smiled at the nature around him with every breath of fresh air, he waved at Wilson as he passed nearby his porch where he was washing his truck.

For some reason I felt fresher and aware, considering my circumstances I should have felt crappy and depressed but I felt a wave of acceptance and surrender gushing through me. It almost felt like I finally figured out something hat I could not put into words.

Every psychological phenomenon, be it dreams, or hallucinations are a product of your subconscious. Just like that my atrocious hallucinations were a product of my troubled mind but today was different because the things I saw while walking Lucy were different. I could see butterflies and a broad spectrum of colors engulfing us, I could see shooting stars of different colors appearing every once in a while and I could see my aura getting brighter and more vibrant as I breathed deeply. Some may thing it looked liked I had been whacked on the head but I promise you it was all too beautiful.
