"Wake up."
The voice was muffled, Christina couldn't make out who it was.
"Wake up!"
Christina's eyes fluttered open. She squinted as sunlight blocked her vision. There was a dull ache in her left leg. Her clothes were damp. She could feel grains of sand under her body. She sat up to find the little blonde girl from earlier looking at her with her worried green eyes.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm awake now, see?" Christina comforted, Leila nodded hesitantly.
"What happened?" Christina asked, rubbing her head.
"I was at the back of the boat. There was a storm, storms are scary by the way, and I lost mommy and daddy, they said they were right behind me, and then the boat like crashed I think and there was like all water inside of it! Like a flood, you know. And then um and then we woke up here."
Christina looked at the girl sympathetically. If Leila was at the back of the boat, she was lucky to be alive right now, her parents were most likely dead. They were on an island of some sort, but that was all Christina could gather. There must be other survivors that had washed up here too. Christina prayed that her sisters were amongst them.
"Ok there's got to be other people here, so we need to find them," Christina said moving to get up, "Ow ow ow." She whimpered as she fell back on her butt.
"Silly, you hurt your leg remember?" Leila laughed. Christina smiled at the mischievous girl.
"Ok then ratty help me up and let's go find some other humans." Christina ordered.

Lisa hissed in pain as Riley held the piece of cloth to her bleeding forehead.
"I think the bleedings starting to slow down," Riley said quietly, Lisa gave her a smile.
"Hey it's going to be okay, we'll find your friends and my sisters, I'm sure of it." Lisa assured. Riley just forced a smile back.
"How hard did you hit your head mate? Think you can predict the future now?" Riley joked. Lisa glanced over to the boy that was with them.
"He's pretty cute, don't you think?" Lisa said. Riley almost laughed at her.
"Wow we're stranded on a desert island and your oogling at some guy?" Riley said, "But yeah I guess so. He looks like a nerdy Zayn Malik." Lisa continued staring at the boy. Riley smirked.
"Hey what's your name?" Riley called. The boy looked up in surprise and walked a little closer to them.
"Mohammed," He said, scratching the back of his head nervously.
"Well, I'm Riley, it's good to meet you," Riley looked at Lisa mischievously, "Jee my arm is really cramping up, do you think you can take over and hold this cloth to my friend's head here?" Lisa sent Riley a death glare.
"Oh um sure," Mohmmed said, switching spots with Riley. Lisa and Mohammed's faces were now only inches apart.
"Hi, I'm Lisa," Lisa smiled looking straight at the boy, "It's nice to meet you Mohammed."
"I am too, pleased to meet you I mean, and erm you can call me Mo like if you want, it's shorter, I don't mind," He smiled back shyly. Riley sat down on the sand, stretching out her legs, proud of her work.

Reese whimpered in pain as Lauren tried to inspect her arm.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Lauren said quickly, moving her hands away from the injured girl. Reese was bleeding profusely from a deep cut running from her shoulder down to her elbow. Owyn rubbed her sister's good arm in an attempt to comfort her.
