Heat licked at their sweating faces. The scorching sand shimmered in the intense white rays of the sun. But still they trudged on, desperate to find their friends and family and desperate to get off this island. Christina limped with the support of Katherine and Leila had gotten tired a while back so now she was on Vesper's back.
"And then the arrow literally almost pierced Riley's head," Lisa explained, "And then we freaking ran and then found you guys."
"Whoa," Ash said, "Riley ran?"
"Ha Ha," Riley replied, sarcastically.
"Ok but for real, you think there's like indigenous people here? Or is it just that one guy?" Vesper inquired.
"Who knows, maybe," Mo replied, "But what I really want to know is how there's people living on this island and where we are exactly. Because we were sailing south east on the pacific coast and I'm pretty sure there's no land whatsoever in that area."
"So, what does that mean? We're on some island that's unknown to the rest of the world?" Katherine questioned.
"Don't ask me," Riley and Ash said, both equally as bad when it came to geography.
"Telepaths," they said again. Both their eyes lit up.
"Double telepaths."
"Triple tele-"
"Ok we get it you read each other's minds," Christina laughed.
"Yep, it's one of the Salbizummus family's many talents." Vesper said proudly.
"I'm not even going to ask," Katherine shook her head.
Lisa caught sight of some figures a little way up ahead.
"I hope that's one of our people," she said as she squinted into the distance. Christina, the sister with the better eyesight, was the one who realised who it was.
"Guys I think that's-"
"Christina! Katherine! Lisa!" Dani yelled as she and Amy ran over to them, hugging them all excitedly.
"Dan Dan," Katherine said softly as she stroked her sister's hair. Amy finally detached herself from Lisa.
"Lauren and the others will be happy to see you, come on let's go."
"Wait, the others as in..." Vesper trailed off, not wanting to hope for something that might not even be true. Dani gave her a nod. The three friends gasped in relief and delight.

Soon everyone was re-united. There were many hugs and tears to say the least. Riley held onto the twins' hands, she didn't ever want to let go. Vesper rested her head against Xander's right shoulder and Ash did the same on her left. They sat on the logs in a relieved and peaceful silence. The Cimorelli sisters chatted amongst themselves quietly.
The ship, or what was left of it, lay in the sand, slanting to one side. The back half of it had been completely severed off, there were jagged edges and if anyone were to go inside it now, the floors were bound to collapse from beneath them. It looked like it was stolen straight from a movie set. Some survivors sat close to others. Some sat completely on their own, probably because they didn't have anyone left.
Katherine smiled slightly as she watched Nate slowly inch his hand closer to Lauren's. Christina caught onto what Kath was looking at.
"Just do it already wimp," Christina said under her breath. Lauren looked down and saw what Nate was doing and smiled as she put her hand in his.
