Chapter 5: Team 7 Forms

"Hello everyone! Today is the day you become genins. Congratulations all of you for passing. So for today we will discuss the genin life, so that you won't be easily confused about what to do and what not to do. Afterwards we will announce your genin teams." Iruka started. At this point, many of the students were listening intently. Most have curious and nervous glances. Iruka brushed them off and continued. "I will be telling you how to be a true genin. Just a summarization I suppose."

"Being a Genin doesn't mean you're already strong enough to be deemed as a true Shinobi. In fact, it is the beginning of your Shinobi life. In this stage, you are ought to learn the basics of being a Shinobi. Defend, protect, attack, and help."

"Shinobi is not always at the battlefield. Meaning, it's not just about fighting. You are to do missions for your village. Breaking it down in your terms, it means chores. D and C-Rank missions are given." After Iruka said that, everyone groaned. So they were just going to do community services?

"I'm sure you'll take awesome missions as well after you achieve 30 D-Ranks. Like escorting, helping other villages, etcetera.." Iruka scratched his head sheepishly. "I suppose you already know the levels of ninja. After genin, you'll take the Chuunin Exams to become chuunin. Then after chuunin, you're going to pick whether you'll become Anbu or take the Jounin Exams."

"I think that's it. Now proceeding the announcements of the genin teams." Iruka cleared his throat and started reading off his clipboard.

"Alrighty. Team 1! Taka-..." he continued. But Naruto stopped listening as he wasn't part of the team. He knew he would be on the same team as his siblings. He couldn't wait for his classmates reactions when they figured out that he and his siblings weren't what they thought they were.

His thoughts were cut off when he heard his name.

"Team 7! Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha with Jounin Kakashi Hatake! Team 8! Kiba Inuzu-..."

Now girls were glaring at Sakura who was cheerful. Sasuke's fangirls were really annoyed with her and jealous.

To say Naruto was happy was an understatement. Although he didn't seem that much different on the outside he was extremely excited. Even though he knew he was going to be on the same team as his siblings, he was happy. After 4 years of the academy, he couldn't wait to go back to his old self and not this stupid persona. He honestly hated being underestimated.He decided to message his siblings. He was making new seals and one of those seals happened to let the three of them talk telepathically.

'YAY! Years of hardwork finally paid off and now we're on the same team!' Naruto thought to his siblings.

'I know! I can't wait to change these clothes! They're so bleh!' Sakura replied. Naruto and Sasuke chuckled.

'And I can't wait to see their reactions. It'll be hilarious!' Sasuke said as well. 'Anyways, do you guys know who Kakashi Hatake is?'

'Well, from the bingo book, Kakashi Hatake was genin at 5, chunin at 6, and jounin at 10. He's known as Kakashi of the Sharingan and as Kakashi the Copy Ninja. His left eye has the sharingan in it. He was also previously an Anbu captain.'

'And from what I heard, he is late to everything that is not important by at least 3 hours. And he likes to read books everywhere.' Naruto added, not knowing that those books were the same books Hiruzen read.

'Well isn't he an interesting sen-' his sentence was cut off as he noticed everyone was gone. 'Oh everyone already left. How nice.'

'Great now we have to wait 3 hours for him. Might as well sleep.'
