"What kind of proposition?" asked Naruto dumbly, knowing he was going to ask something bad.
"It's a secret, but I'm going to let you in on it," Mizuki smirked.
"A... secret?"
"I trust you, so I'm going to tell you. Today when you and your friends became genin, you still aren't official genin. You will have to take a real test with your genin team by your jounin sensei. I'll give you a deal. If you can take the forbidden scroll, in the Hokage's office, I'll make you an official genin okay? This will be like an unofficial mission to test your skills."
Naruto thought about it for a minute. 'I'll accept, but I'll tell Jiji to come to the place he tells me to come to. He's obviously trying to steal it using me. I'll make sure this traitor gets caught!'
"I accept!"
"Alright, don't tell anyone about this because I'm just favoring you," Mizuki said.
'Yeah right.' thought Naruto. "You have a few hours to meet me at Training Grounds 44. See you there." He said as he shunshined out.
'Okay, now to head home and tell 'Suke and 'Kura.'

Sasuke and Sakura were at home waiting for Naruto.
"Where do you think he is? Or what happened with Mizu-" Sakura said pacing, as she was cut off when they saw a broken door with Naruto standing there. A moment passed.
"STOP BREAKING DOWN THE DOOR! I CAN'T ALWAYS BE PAYING FOR IT!" Sakura screamed as she bonked his head.
"You're such an idiot..." Sasuke said, sighed as he leaned against a wall, crossing his arms.
"Oh shut your mouth, Asshole," Naruto said. He looked at Sakura and Sasuke. "Mizuki said for me to steal the forbidden scroll that we... or I... had a while ago. I just want to tell you because in about an hour I'm supposed to get it. He also said that we weren't official genin yet, and we still had to do another test."
"He always did seem suspicious..." Sasuke said, thinking to himself.
"Yeah. Anyways I'm going to tell Jiji then go get it," he said before running off, stepping on the broken door.
"What am I going to do with you..." Sakura muttered as she sighed.

"Jiji!" Naruto said as he jumped into the room, using the window. The Sandaime Hokage recognized his voice and looked at him.
"Do you need something Naruto?"
"Yeah! So apparently Mizuki said he wanted me to steal the forbidden scroll and meet him at Training Grounds 44 at midnight. And I know that I'm perfectly capable of knocking him out but I just wanted to warn you. Tell Iruka-sensei to go there. Also thanks for putting me with my siblings in the genin teams." Hiruzen thought for a minute then replied.
"Alright, thank you for telling me this news. I'll get some ANBU to go there. We'll get some information out of him once we get to him. And you're welcome."
'Mizuki huh? I should've noticed' Hiruzen internally scowled.
"Do you think he would suspect if I gave him a fake look-alike of the forbidden scroll?"
