Moving Forward

12 years later

(I know this is way out of left field but I've got it planned out I promise it's worth it)

No ones POV:

It had been 12 years since Adelaide had been stolen from her parents. She was 16 now and quite the fighter. She was raised by Valentino and eventually forgot her parents. Valentino was her dad. And she thought he was great. The best dad she could've ever hoped for.

Angel and Alastor looked for her for 2 and a half years. That was until Alastor told angel he wasn't going to partake in the search anymore. He truly believed she was gone. A month later Angel admitted it as well. And they tried their best to live without their baby girl.
But it took a lot of time to heal.
Angel cried every day. Barely left his bed for months. Alastor was left with Finneas most days, and when Finn was in daycare, he stayed with Angel.

But as it is with all things, time healed them. They never forgot about their dear Addie, but accepted that she was gone to Tartarus or in heaven. And they had to move forward. And they did. They had a beautiful boy who was now age 12.

Alastor's POV:

I felt a punch land on my stomach, but I caught the next fist before it reached my face, and flipped the boy around by his arm onto the mat.

I groaned and I got off his back.
"Well Finneas you're getting better, but you must always catch the enemy off guard. You must ALWAYS be one step ahead."

He jumped up and brushed himself off. "C'mon dad, can't I just use my powers?"

I shook my head, taking my fighting stance once more. "No son, you aren't in control of them yet. They're unreliable and reckless. Hand on hand combat can protect you in case of complications with your power. Now, again."

He sighed dramatically, stretching his long legs.
"Can't I go see ma for lunch? I'm hungry!"

"You had breakfast 3 hours ago."

"Yeah?" He took a sassy stance that reminded me so much of Angel. His calf-high boot crossed over on another, his long legs were covered by fishnets and shorty shorts. He had a crop top on and signature red gloves. His shoulder length white hair with black tips pulled back in a pony tail. And some eyeliner on his eyes. Children in hell grow up pretty fast as is, so he looked more like an adult would in the human world.
Yes, he was 12, and quite mature for his age, but I'd expect no less from a kid who has angel as a mom.
"And? I gotta eat, old man."

I ruffled his hair gently then smacked him upside the head.
"Ow! What was that for??"

I grinned and walked with him out the studio and towards the kitchen. "I'm not old."

"Pfft sure."

I glared at my son and he ran and hugged his mom from behind. Angel gasped then turned around.

"Jesus kid you'll give me a heart attack." Angel sighed.

"What'll you do, die again?" Finn laughed.

Angel chuckled and placed a grilled cheese at the kid's place at the table. "Ya got me there kid."

Finneas sat down and started to scarf down his sandwich. Angel walked up to sofa and sat beside me, leaning into me slightly.
"How'd he do at trainin?"

I put my arm around angel and kissed the side of his head. "He did alright. He's reckless though. Doesn't have good technique."

Angel laughed. "Al he's a kid. Of course he don't."

We turned and saw Finn balancing the empty plate in the air with his powers, trying to levitate it to the sink.

"Finneas Anthony Dust, if you dropped that plate I'll tell Aunt Vaggie!" Angel yelled over.

Finn quickly let the plate drop into his hands and carefully carried it to the sink. There was one thing he was scared of and that was his Aunt Vaggie.
Angel smirked and stood up again. "Aight I gotta run some errands. I'll see you boys later."

Finn ran up to his mom. "Can I come mom?"
Angel ruffled his hair again, much to finn's displeasure. "I don't see why not kiddo." Finn brightly smiled at Angel.

I scoffed, knowing this was Finn's way of sucking up to his mom and getting out of training. Finn winked at me and I rolled my eyes, standing up and walking towards my office.

Under my breath I muttered, "little shit."

Angel yelled back at me. "I heard that Al! Have fuuunnnn!"
Angel and Finn walked out towards the limo and I sat down in my office chair, getting some paperwork done.
