Angel's POV:

This.

This is crazy. It's all happening so fast. She's all grown up. I thought she was dead. Not long after Alastor showed her the picture she passed out. Which is understandable.
I was trying my best to keep it together but it was getting harder. The tears ran down my face at rapid speeds.

I looked at her on the ground. Her black and red hair was just like Alastor's...she had my incredibly long legs, but she definitely looked more like Alastor, while Finn looked more like me. Finn was out with husk, probably drinking or something.
Alastor let go of me and picked her up off the ground.

He turned to me with our little girl in his arms. Although she wasn't so little anymore. She was almost as tall as me....we missed so much.

We walked inside and put her in our bed. Alastor got out some handcuffs and chained her to the bed.

"Al? Why're ya doin that?" I questioned

"Because angel, she'll wake up and the first thing she'll wanna do is run." He said in a tone I hadn't heard in years. He was sad...I haven't heard his voice like that in 12 years.

We sat down on the sofa and I looked at Alastor.
"Alastor...we missed so much. I-I never got ta-"
I felt tears prick at my eyes.
"I never got ta teach her how ta make her grandma's recipes...or teach her how ta braid her hair...or buy her her first sports bra." I laughed dryly at the last one. Gesturing to myself. Alastor scoffed fondly and elbowed me.

(It's funny because he's a guy but he wears bras and- I'm gonna shut up. Listen I ain't a comedy queen you get what you get.)

"I know, darling. I know. It's an unfortunate situation. But we've got to plan for what to do when she wakes up. We can't throw everything at her. She'll deny it, won't let in sink in. Don't talk to her about...us. Being her parents...just let her wake up and ask the questions she wants to ask. Don't pry."
Alastor was always so level headed in these ways. I could never muster the type of calmness he maintained, it's something I always admired.

I sighed. "Ok. We can do this. She'll remember and we'll have our baby girl back." I smiled.

"That's the spirit, my dear!" Alastor cheered with a tilt of the head. I laughed and launched myself at him for a hug. He chuckled slightly and held me, scratching my head. He planted a kiss on my cheek before telling me he was going to get Finn and explain everything to him. I nodded and he left.
I stood up and walked over to sit on the edge of the bed.

I got a closer look at Adelaide. She's got little pink dots on her face like I do. She seemed to only have 4 arms instead of my six. I was tempted to take off her boots to see if she had my feet as well, she probably wouldn't like that...but I don't want her sleeping in uncomfortable clothes...
let's just hope she doesn't wake up.

As carefully as I could, I changed her into some of my comfortable clothes. A white turtle neck, and a black thigh high skirt. I took her boots off and she indeed had spider feet like i did. I put my slippers on her and they fit perfectly. I took her hair out of a ponytail as carefully as I could and layed her back down. Jeez this kid was a heavy sleeper. She stirred slightly and I quickly put her old clothes in the hamper and sat on the foot of her bed. I saw her eyes open and she looked around. She sat up quickly and a look of panic crossed her face. Then she saw me at the foot of the bed and growled.

"Adelaide...it's ok you're safe." I tried to calm her as much as I could but she didn't look pleased.

"So what?! Am I a hostage or some shit?" Her glare was piercing.

"D-do ya have any questions?" I asked her. "I'll tell the absolute truth I promise."

"Why should I believe you??"

It was so hard seeing my kid so unaware of reality. "I'd never lie to ya Addie."

She scoffed. "Says my kidnapper. And don't call me 'Addie'....you call me Della."

I assumed that was her mission name. I agreed, only because I knew how Val was with that. We're more similar than she thinks.

"Della, huh? I remembah my mission name." I chuckled fondly at the memory. Obviously Val was an asshole...but that was when our relationship had been relatively ok...I mean that's when he didn't hit me, or sell me to people only to get me back a week later.

She perked up at that. "You went on missions too? For Valentino?"

"Yep." I said. "I was Seraphina for quite a while. Y'know how it is. Mafia shit. I was Seraphina while I was working in the mafia when I was alive as well, so it was more of a legacy than anythin'. Nuttin' I'm proud of obviously..." I looked down. Thinking about all the people I needlessly murdered for my dad and Val.

"That's crazy. So you worked for my dad too? Are you the traitor he always talks about?" She sat up a little more.

I scoffed. "Is that what he calls me now. God, he's such a salty ex." I laughed but Adelaide didn't look that amused.

"Anyway." She said. "So...um what's his name..uh...oh! Alastor. He said that you guys are my parents. Which isn't true but I'd like to know why you think that."

I sighed. I knew this was coming. Do I tell her she's wrong? No no....I'll show her.

I grabbed a hand mirror.

"Della. Take off the slippers."

"What?! When did you change me you pervert!"

I rolled my eyes. "Listen sugar, just do it."

She growled. "Don't call me sugar." As she took off the slippers. I took off my boots.

"Look at our feet, they're the same. Look at the spots under your eyes, I have them too. Your red at black hair, it's just like Alastor's. You have his nose...his eyes...his antlers..you have my multiple arms."

She looked astonished then pushed the mirror away.
"N-no! Dad has multiple arms too! Just like me!"

"Yeah?" I said. "And what else does he share with you? Tell me."

She just stared at me, her eyes were filling up with tears as she tried to think of anything else.

I looked at her sadly.
"Oh honey, it's ok. You're going to be ok."
I pulled her into a hug. At first she pushed back, but I wasn't going to waste one more second. I was going to hug her. She eventually relaxed slightly and leaned into it. I could feel her head on my fluff and she gasped. That seemed to do it.

She pulled back and looked up at me. The tears finally spilling over.

"M-mom..?"

"Yes honey?"

"MOM!"
