song: Hey Lover- Daughters of Eve
Tsumgui woke up to the sound of someone playing a piano. She was used to hearing a piano from her soulmate. She got up and walked over to her phone just to check it was definitely her soulmate making the sounds.
Yep, she put her phone back down and sat back down on her bed. She stared out the window as the song started to change. It wasn't the piano for once? Don't get her wrong, she still loves when her soulmate plays the piano. It was always so mesmerizing.
But all of a sudden she heard the voice. She had never heard her soulmate sing solo before, it was only when they were together with what seemed to be friends for fun. She couldn't clearly make out if it was definitely them or not. But now it's only them, her soulmate is probably alone playing this song somewhere.
"hey, hey, hey lover,"
Tsumugi slightly sat up in her bed. Did she hear that right, yes she must have. She kept replaying that same opening line over and over again in her head. The instruments in the back were beautiful. But, the voice, the sound made Tsumigi feel relaxed. Her soulmate was definitely a she. But Tsumgui didn't care about gender at the moment or really ever. The only thing on her mind was how angelic that voice was and what song was it?
"you don't have to be a star,"
"She sounds amazing, I think i'm in love and I haven't even met the girl yet." Tsumgui thought as she got up to look up the song. She loved how it sounded, especially how her soulmate sang it. It was literally music to her ears. But, then music stopped.
"oh come on," Tsumugi pouted. She thankfully found the song and added it to her "soulmate" playlist. All the other songs on the list were to her kinda boring old piano songs. But this, this song was amazing. And the way her soulmate sang it! Perfection at its finest.
