Darkness is filling my lungs. Trying to breath I only get more darkness inside of me. I'm slowly suffocating, I thought. Suddenly a light is spreading slowly in front of my blank eyes. A light that can end the darkness. Maybe there's still hope left.

Liam's P.O.V

Sitting in the waiting room I impatiently stare at the door. I had to see my mate. I needed to know that she was okay. Seeing two sad persons in the waiting room that I had been told was her parents were sitting numbly and waiting just as I. Suddenly another person came into the waiting room. He had red hair with blue eyes. He seemed very worried. He sat down with her parents and they smiled up to him. Was he her brother or something? Didn't even know that she had a brother. Well I didn't even know her name until the doctor said that she was named Alexis. What a beautiful name, I thought. I was so worried. What if that rogue had hurt her really badly. She looked pretty bad when I took her to the werewolf doctor. If the rogue wasn't dead I would of hunted him until he finally was ripped to pieces, for what he did to my mate. I couldn't believe it, really. I had just met her and then this happened. It wasn't fair. Suddenly another badly hurt girl was brought to the hospital. The girl had bite marks all over her body and she was even more badly hurt than Alexis. If that girl lived then Alexis would do it too, I decided for myself. I could slightly hear the boy with red hair whisper to her parents:

"Who's that?" Her parents glanced a little at me and then said quiet:

"That's the boy that brought her here, after the rogue attack!" Her father said with a bitter voice:

"Let's just hope that it was worth it!" I almost growled. Of course she was going to make it. Right? I asked to myself a little hesitant and worried.

The werewolf doctor finally came out with a sad look on his face. Oh no, it couldn't be...

Her parents raised from the chairs they were sitting on and listened tensely. The guy with red hair looked as if he couldn't believe it. I didn't know what I looked like. As a guy who had lost his whole family or maybe something even worse.

"She was very badly hurt when we took her in, there was nothing more we could of done."

My rage was beyond all control now as I stormed at the doctor. He screamed at security while I pushed him away and going to the room where my mate was. Barging inside the room I see her. Her now red hair lying dump down on the hospital pillow, lifeless. Her soft lips shut and her eyes tightly closed. Her skin...so pale. Walking closer her I see-

Walking closer I see that her chest is heaving up and down, making me blink three times. SHE'S ALIVE. BUT I THOUGHT...!

A calm sense of something is suddenly calming my earlier panic.

"That was what I was going to say before you interrupted me. I was going to say that sadly she got herself in a coma and that we didn't know when she was going to wake up. It can take days, hours or even months before they wake up. But do you possibly know her mate or someone that she love dearly. Since they can make feelings in the person that's in coma. The feelings can wake the person up faster, so like I said. Do you know anyone like that?" Just numbly standing there looking at Alexis I hear her parents say:
