It was the second week of our Christmas break and I still haven't recieve any replies from her since last week.
Mike: Hi, Olivia. Thank you for your wonderful gift. I don't deserve expensive gifts but I'm still gonna take it and cherish it.
Mike: Gabby told me that you're moving away with your family. So, I hope we can get along, you know. I hope you're free some other time.
Mike: I'm sorry. Maybe you're busy.
She still doesn't reply up until now and it's bothering me.
"Bro, chill. Maybe she's just enjoying her time with her family. You know her, she loves her family." Jacob said in the middle of our game.
"I know, but it doesn't have to be this long- Bro, someone's on your right." I said while pressing the keys aggressively as I spot an opponent meters away.
"Yeah. I mean, you have a point. Well, maybe something bad happened. Ya know." he said.
I froze as I overthink things. Making me worry more as my mind flashes fake scenarios that has zero possibility.
"Dude, we lose again." he said and I snapped out of my trance. "Do you have her number?" I asked immediately and I heard him chuckled.
"Bro, stop thinking about her! It's Christmas break and we're on a break"
"I know, but it doesn't have to end there. You guys gave me hope that I can be the one for her, you know. Bro, I know I'm a weird fucking dumbass guy, but I really really do love her. I've never felt this way towards anyone-"
"Bro, we know, okay? It's just that, I understand your feelings, but we're too young for feelings like yours. It's like you wanted to marry her kind of love-"
"And it is. I do want to marry her. Spend my lifetime, for eternity with her. Damn. What did she do to me to be like this."
"Bro you're crazy."

After playing for hours, Jacob and I decided to take a break. We pushed aggressively our rank since we have nothing else to do. It was a great time killer but I can't stop thinking why she's still not viewing my messages. It bothers me.
I crashed myself on my bed and let out a loud sigh. My eyes are tired, as well as my ass and hands. And I've been doing this for a week now.
I checked my phone and someone sent a friend request.
Olivia Denmark
What the hell. Is this real?
I immediately accept the request and check her profile.
It was really her, but why? It seems like a new account. What happened to her account?
I decided to send her a message.
Mike: Hi. Is this your new account?
My heart was beating so fast, waiting for her to respond. I think she's busy.
After approximately three minutes, she responded.
Olivia: Hey, Mike. Yep. It's my new account since the social media platform locked me out as I lost my phone somewhere. Thanks for accepting my request :)
It was her! God. I have this feeling that someone might be using her identity to fool someone close to her.
As I remember, they're fixing their papers and they've been travelling a lot since it needs a lot of assurance, or paper signing and some shit. And maybe she lost her phone along their way. Well, that's sad.
Mike: That's kinda frustrating, but good thing you got a new one.
Our conversation began to flow smoothly as she replies every ten second or more. I'm such a freak. My God.
Olivia: Yeah. I'm glad it's Christmas. So, how's your Christmas Break going?
Mike: It's all great, a little lazy ass. Jacob and I been playing videogames since then. Well, hbu? How's your Christmas Break?
It took a minute for her to reply but I didn't mind as long as she respond.
Olivia: It's all great and we finally got back from our travels, ya know. Kinda exhausting but everything's great.
And I replied immediately.
Mike: Glad to know that you're having fun. I would like to thank you for the gift you gave me. I didn't expect anything expensive, and especially from you. Thank you, I really appreciate it :)
She replied after another minute.
Olivia: Gee. It's the least thing I can do for you to know that I appreciate your time. I appreciate your gift as well, sadly it doesn't fit, but I turned it into a necklace so that I can still wear it anytime ya know. It's still pretty for me.
She sent a picture of her showing the necklace where the ring was. And it's perfect. I was a bit embarrassed since the size I picked didn't fit at all, but luckily she can still wear it so, it's definitely okay.
I let out a loud sigh and confessing to her starts to occupy my mind. As I also forgot that I was talking to her.
Olivia: Hey, I guess you're busy. But thanks for your time. My cousins are coming over and we're going to have a good time. I hope you have a good time too, Mike. See you soon and I hope we can still talk. Goodbye :)
My fingers are slightly trembling as I quickly type my message for her before she hang out with her cousins.
Mike: I appreciate your time, too. And I'm also looking forward to talk to you soon, Olivia. Thank you so much and have fun :)
I hit send and she sent a smiley face and a heart emoji where it ends our conversation.
It was I quick one but I still enjoyed it. I like that she remembers me. I somehow felt special after that. It was certainly magical. For me, at least.

Night time came it was freezing cold. I turned on the heater but I still can't sleep because of what happened earlier. I keep on thinking about what she really meant of hoping that we could talk again or see each other. It's weird that I'm overthinking stuff, but at the same time satisfying inside.
I grab my phone and stalk her a little bit. A minute later three consecutive posts are tagged on her that is posted on her timeline.
It was from her relatives.
They are happy on the pictures since someone nice took photos of them while eating, playing or even horribly laughing. I can see how happy they are, especially Olivia. I can clearly see that she's wearing the necklace where the ring was. It made me happy.
I froze as I swipe on the other picture. It was Olivia and a guy wearing a maroon shirt, smiling on the camera. I noticed that the guy was also tagged on that photo so I stalk a little more to know what's happening.
Nathan Walsh
He's not a family member. He can't just be a friend, since everyone has their own family to celebrate Christmas with. And, he can't be her boyfriend, right?
"I had fun with you." says the caption on a picture that is tagged to Olivia's old account. He's with Olivia on the picture eating a cone of ice cream watching the sunset in front of them.
Almost everyone adored them.
Did I just lost from someone who unexpectedly showed up?
