Again

I can't focus to our discussion today after knowing that they came back together. With just only a blink and it was only two or three weeks after they broke up. What's going on inside Olivia's head for giving another chance to that fucking asshole. He's just a deadweight to her precious life!

"Bro, Christmas is just around the corner. Who do you want to exchange gifts with?" Jacob asked beside me.

I let out a huge sigh, letting out the bad vibes that's been keeping inside my chest. "I want to give Olivia something special that when she wears it, she'll remember me." I said and he just looked at me then laughed, which caught the attention of almost the whole class, especially our teacher but she didn't mind it because we're planning for our Class' Christmas Party next week.

"Bro that's so old school. But I know she'll love it. She loves gifts, especially from an unexpected person." he smirked and elbowed me, as a tease.

"But Greyson and her came back together and I didn't even know not until she told me about it earlier. It's stressing me out. Geez." I said, panic on my voice and Jacob just stare at me.

"Yeah. I heard that too earlier. They came back together yesterday when Greyson surprised her a necklace at a friend's party. I was there too but I didn't know something stupid will happen."

I sighed. So he gave her a necklace and I also want to give her a necklace but fuck him. What am I supposed to give her now?

After school, Jacob and I went to the mall to find a gift I could give to Olivia, to at least let her know that I like her. I was planning to confess to her on that day.

"How about you? What will you give to Olivia?" Jacob asked as he grab a heart shape pillow for his girlfriend, Alex, from one of the rival schools of our campus.

"I... I was planning to give her a ring." I said and he just looked me, ready to laugh.

"Bro, I don't think she'll like it- I mean, a ring? Seriously? Well, what if she didn't like it?" he said and it turned down my fucking mood.

"There's only one way to find out, you know. That is to give it to her. Personally."

"I know. I'll be on your side, bro."

After buying his gift for her girlfriend, we went to the jewelry shop. As we enter, I jolted as I saw Greyson with another girl, whom I don't know. As we saw each other, he seem shocked as well. Very suspicious.

"S-Sup, bro." he said and the girl just keep on smiling while carrying a bag.

"Who's this?" Jacob suddenly asked. He's really protective when it comes to Olivia, even though they're not together anymore and I really have huge respect for him.

The girl looked at Greyson, she's also waiting for his reply.

"S-She's my cousin." he said and the girl elbowed her.

"Dumbass. You always answer that I'm your cousin. I'm Jill. Greyson's girlfriend. And you guys are?"

My hands turned into a fist. I can't believe we just caught this fucking asshole cheating to Olivia. AGAIN.

"Greyson, can we talk for a sec.?" Jacob said and pulled Greyson's uniform and slightly walked away. Left me with this girl, dumbfounded. I look at her and she seems nice. Simple. And I guess she doesn't really know what's happening. Should I tell her? Or...

"How long have you been dating?" I asked, casually starting a conversation.

"O-Oh. Well, actually I'm his childhood friend- cliche, am I right? We're dating for about six months now. He bought me this necklace for my birthday. " she chuckled, and I can see how genuine her feelings for him.
