Chapter 3

Today was Tuesday. I had to go through music again with Michael. Even though he plays guitar he is still an idiot. After doing nothing when we where in music yesterday, means I have to invite him over so we don't fall behind in class. We only have 4 weeks to do this so I may as well.

For once I was ready before Beth called to pick me up. My mum had went to work already, and I told her about Michael probably coming over so I won't fail class. She teased me about having Michael as a secret "boyfriend", but I assured her nothing like that would ever happen in my lifetime. Beth knocked on the door and I grabbed my bag and walked over to her car. We put the radio on and there was a song called Out of my limit? I think. But I must say it was rather good. I didn't catch the name of the band, but they were local because it was played by a small radio station.

"Wow!" Beth said very gob smacked. I then thought she was probably talking about the song. As thought, she was. " I love that song! We need to hear more from this band. Definitely." She exclaimed with a lot of passion. " I know right Beth?" We then started singing the chorus to the song until Beth got to school.

After our song outburst, we parked up and walked into school and something rather unusual happened. Luke Hemmings, Calum hood and Ashton Irwin said altogether"hey is it Carmen?" I just nodded my head as Beth slowly walked away so I had to deal with whatever this was single handedly. I guess Michael told them about me playing the guitar. And right on cue, I was right. " We erm heard about you playing guitar, that's cool..." Luke shyly admitted.all that was going through my head was why do they want to know more? They are also dorks. Oh well I thought and turned around and ran over to Beth.

"Hey, why did you leave me? They know about me and my guitar playing, Michael told them." I moaned. "Why are they so interested about you? It's not like they are going to learn anything" Beth then replied. She was right. The bell went for first period and I walked to my first.

After a double period of p.e, I was exhausted and went out to the cafeteria to go and sit besid Beth. "Hey"I Said to Beth. She looked a little down. "What's up?"I asked concerned for her. "Nothing I'm just tired." "Oh, ok then!" I chirped.

Music was next. I sat down in a desk beside Michael looking over at Beth. He was wearing a green day t-shirt, black jeans and biker boots. "Erm, do you like green day?" I asked. "Yeah! I love them. Especially American Idiot!" He replied."I love american idiot too..." i said barely audible. We decided to brain storm ideas about love and friendship. "So it's unknown. You are fond of someone and show affection towards one. Friendship is someone who you experience memories with and tell them all your deepest, darkest secrets" Michael explained. Honestly, I have never fell in love or had a friend ship like that." So, erm, because we are behind In music, I was wondering if you would like to come to my house to catch up....?" I whispered "Yeah. Okay. I will be round at 4" I gave him my address and number and told him to bring his guitar. I also said that my mum will probably make dinner.

Today flew by. All that was left was to study with Michael. I said to my mum Michael's coming over. And she said ok. I went into my room and picked up my guitar. I started to play and sing Coldplay, Sky full of stars.

I went silent when someone threw a rock at my window shouting "wow, you are amazing at singing...." Oh no. I'm so shy, now someone heard me?! I opened my curtain to find ....
