Zonic slowly regained consciousness as he opened his eyes, and found himself in the infirmary of no zone. Looking to his right to find the zone's best doctor, Doctor Finitevus, tending to him, and as the name goes, he too is quite similar to the same Finitevus in the prime zone, but instead of evil intention, his will was different. With his title of being the best doctor in the zone, comes with the methods he uses for his talent, which is what brings the term similarities come in. Although his will is unknown to those around him, nobody can deny that his way of 'saving lives', can be rather ... drastic whenever he says "everything will be okay" to his patients.

No one else in the entire zone is able to fully understand Dc Finitevus's equipment other than the echidna himself, therefore everyone can only trust him to not do any critical damage of any sort, with both the patients that he tends to as well as the necessary equipment that he needs from the facilities of no zone itself. Regardless of how big his mind can be. However, throughout the years of working and enhancing his inventions, everyone can also agree that he has definitely earned their trust in the end, as he has enhanced his technology enough to a point where he is able to put everyone back to normal with any side-effects, despite the dramatic processes needed according to whatever the damage each patient has.

Sometimes, he has also proven himself trustworthy with times where he would succeed without using his equipment at all, and Zonic's situation now is one of those times. "Ah~ You have finally opened your eyes my friend. How are you feeling?" Finitevus asked as he adjusted the IV drip and moved the bed to a slight sitting position, and Zonic groaned looking around before asking. "What...happened? The last thing I remember was detonating Eggman's base." He said with slight grogginess and Finitevus hummed while nodding. "I see, and you remember nothing after that?" He asked. "I don't know, because I think I remember something else, but I just don't know."

Finitevus nodded and picked up his clipboard, looking through the document as he adjusted his glasses before speaking. "Well it's a good thing you remember something before you passed out, because you will be needing that for what happens next in the coming days." Zonic raises a brow. "What do you mean?" "You will find out soon enough. It is not in my position to say, therefore I can only say, prepare yourself for what's about to happen. You will leave the infirmary in five days. Rest well my friend." Finitevus said before leaving the room. Zonic looked down as he thought through what Finitevus said, and tried to remember what happened to him before he passed out. It took him some time, but he was able to remember something, or rather ... Heard Someone.

Its okay Zonic. You're safe now

It's so odd. He didn't think he would be able to remember that so clearly, and that voice sounded exactly like the stranger that intruded no zone a few years, but how is that possible? Nobody else was suppose to know about Eggman's top secret base other than the no zone and Eggman himself. Not to mention, all of his equipment was destroyed during the explosion, so there was no way anyone was able to find him so easily, and even if someone was at the same location as he and Eggman, there was no way they were able to avoid the explosion in time, and if they were able to survive the explosion like he did, then they would've ended up just like him at least, but no. Whoever it was, was up and unfazed by the events that took place.

Who exactly is this mobian who knows so much about Zonic?

After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door, and Zonic looked up to see his fellow no zone cops came to visit him, including Zespio and Zector. He sighed a little, taking a break from thinking so hard, would be what he need at the moment anyway, and a few days later, after Zonic was discharged from the infirmary, he was informed that there is a court session coming up the next day, and the executives of no zone have requested him to attend. The reason as to why they asked him to attend was unsure to everyone, including Zonic himself. So he will only truly understand what is going on during court.
