A Secret (part 1)

Soulmate Au
-Gintoki Pov-
Soulmates.. Red is when your soulmate is far away. Purple is when you find them. Green is when their close. Before green their not so close and after green their closer.

"When will i find my soul mate?" i groaned.
It has been a few years ever since i had these red dotes on our right arm. When we turn 19 we get these red dote on our right arm that shows us if our soul mate is near or far. The red dote changes colour when your soulmate is near. Mine never showed up. It sometimes change but im not sure. Kagura soulmate i was not expecting it to be him Sadist. Well Shinpachi had Otsuu so he got what he wanted.

"Gin San you shouldn't complain she might be close" Shinpachi said as he came in. "Oh your back? Welcome" i greeted totally ignoring his words.

'I hate this soulmate thing. Its troublesome to find my soulmate and what if its a total pervet or something'

"Gin San how are you? You have to work at Shinsengumi and Yorozuya" Shinpachi asked worried.
"Im fine just fine. Nothing out of the or- Crap. I'm late! See you later Shinpachi!" i got up and took my uniform jacket. I ran out while putting it on.
"Bye Gin san!" Sighed Shinpachi. You may be wondering how am i wait no why wait.. No... Wait yes! What am i doing in Shinsengumi? Well..
*Flashback*
"Sakata!" Gorilla was calling.
"What do you want gorilla?" i turned back to him. He came to be sliding and started bowing. "Please! Be our deputy chief!" Gorilla pleaded. Huh? "Why?" i asked

"We need one! Chief and Vice Chief aren't enough! Shinsengumi i growing so we need one! Sougo said you would be a good one!" Gorilla asked "Ughh" i groaned i only got here because of Mayora, he asked me to help him with some stuff.
"I'll do part time. I'll be here in the afternoon and night. Cya" i waved bye. "Thanks alot!"
*No one pov*
There was the shinsengumi and a sandy brown hair man listening to the gorilla and the sliver haired samurai's talk.

"No way!"

"Hes gonna be our deputy chief!?"

"What!?"

"Isn't he just a normal guy?" Whispers filled in among them when a person spoke up.

"Oh he's not normal. Hes like a demon in battle and i like that i can now spar with him" those words came from none other than Okita smirking his sadist smirk.
*End of flashback*

-Gintoki Pov-
And thats what i can remember i opened the door to shinsengumi.
"Morning dep chief!" Anpan greeted.
"Its afternoon dumb***" i corrected. "Oh yeah my apologies"
I go to Hijikata's office. We share the office as Gorilla's dumb*** forgot that we had no place for deputy chiefs. I slid the door open to see a Hijikata laying down, sleeping.

'Man if he is vice chief I'm gonna feel bad. They work and heres him napping'

I take off my jacket as it was hot. I noticed that my clothes were literally soaked with my sweat. Gross. I took out my uniform and began to change into my extra.
"Tch the scars are still here" I was annoyed. The scars are from the joui war. I don't want to forget my friends from there but wanted to forget the war..

"Oh? You were here? Morning" Hijikata sat up. I turned behind still shirtless. I decided I'm not gonna wear my uniform for awhile.

"My gosh. Does Shinsengumi not know what time is? Its afternoon Hijikata" I scolded.
"Hey i know you are a samurai and you fought but what made you chest and back full of scars?" He asked, i wasn't on guard and said something i would've regret

"I fought in war."

I was writing and signing documents when i said that. There was silence and i realised what i said.
"The lastest war was the joui.. You fought in it?" i started sweating not from the heat but from nervousness and blah blah.
