Rainy Day

It was pouring, our sliver haired protagonist was walking down the street getting soaked

"Agh! I should've brought a umbrella, damn" He complained, he clenched the groceries tighter

'Those brats, Kagura made me go buy a month worth of Sukonbu and Shinpachi made me buy soy sauce to eat with rice'

Gintoki was forced by his two kids to go buy food, it was his turn this week after all but life doesn't go your way at times and it started raining

From the corner of Gintoki's crimson red eyes he saw a dango shop with a roof unfortunately it was closed

'Dammit it's closed, I'll just stay under the roof until the rain stops'

He walks under the roof of the shop and stood there waiting for the clouds to stop crying

"Achoo!" He sneezed, he rubbed his nose and continued to stand

'I think i caught a cold, I'll make them work their asses off if i did'

Gintoki made a annoyed face, he never liked getting soaked for a stupid reason

"Yorozuya?" a familiar voice called out

Gintoki looks up to see the demonic vice cheif of shinsengumi holding a umbrella while in his slightly drenched uniform

"Hijikata kun? What are you doing out here in the rain?" Gintoki asks

"Im out for patrol, fortunately i had a umbrella when it started to rain but you.."

Hijikata glances at Gintoki who is wet from head to toe, his permed hair slightly was down, even in the rain his eyes stood out to Hijikata

Hijikata sighed "Your an idiot you know that right?"

"How dare you! Gin chan is a genius thats why-" He stopped arguing and sneezed

"Sniff, Gin chan is a genius thats why he catches colds and fever!" The sliver haired man continued his sentence as he had sneezed

Hijikata notices the bags he is holding one full of Sukonbu and the other a soy sauce bottle and pudding and a bottle of mayo?

'Why did he buy mayonnaise?' Hijikata asked himself

"You probably caught a cold, who told you to buy groceries? Didn't you know it was gonna rain?" Hijikata questions

"I know.. Those brats forced me to buy the groceries ugh" Gintoki looks up to the dark sky and sighs

"Don't you have work? Get going you mayo addict" Gintoki kicks Hijikata's leg

"Oi! Don't do that I'll fall dumbass!" Hijikata yelled at him

Gintoki laughs and kept kicking him in the back of his knee, Hijikata gets pissed and then he finally tripped, his umbrella dropped

Gintoki realized and catches him before he landed on the muddy ground

"Sorry, got carried away!" Gintoki grins while Hijikata's cheeks go a little red

"Whatever so how long do you want to hold me?" He asks

"R-Right" Gintoki slowly helps Hijikata up, Hijikata walks to the fallen umbrella

"Why did you buy a mayonnaise bottle i thought you said the all mighty mayo was dog food?" Hijikata's curiosity asks as he lifts the umbrella to cover his slightly wet hair

"Agh! I must've picked it up thinking it was whip cream! Dammit" Gintoki lied

"How- Nevermind you are an idiot afterall" Hijikata takes out a handkerchief

"Take this and wipe the rain droplet off your face" Hijikata gives it to Gintoki

"Thanks, take the mayo bottle i don't eat mayo" Gintoki sticks out his tongue at Hijikata, Gintoki hands Hijikata the mayonnaise

(I have no idea where he pulls out his mayonnaise bottle but lets just say he has a big ass pocket to fit it in -_-)

Gintoki wipes the water off his face and wipes his hair a bit, he gives it back to Hijikata

The rain got worse it starts to rain heavier, Hijikata gets a phone call

"Today Patrol is cancelled because of the rain!" Kondo san says through the phone

He ends the call and Hijikata sighs, Gintoki looks at Hijikata who is signalling him to come

"What?" Gintoki asked, Hijikata tch-ed

"Get under Yorozuya, I'll bring you back to your house" Hijikata tells him

Gintoki was surprised but didn't take down the offer and went under

They started walking and they look like a couple

"Thanks Hijikata" Gintoki smiles at him which made Hijikata blush

"Your welcome.." Hijikata says back

In the end Gintoki caught a cold
