Chapter 4

Foreseen

"Farius, where are you heading to?" I asked.

Tumingin siya sa akin ng mabuti at nagsalita.

"Azariah, please be safe." He said seriously that made me creased my forehead.

"What? Why? I don't understand you."

Sa halip na magsalita ay ngumiti na lamang siya at umiling bago naglakad paalis sa harap ko.

Kunot-noo akong naglakad papunta sa library para magbasa ng mga libro. I looked at the digital clock on the librarian's table before writing my name on the log book. It's 11:34 a.m and I need to get back in my dorm before 12:30 dahil may mga gagawin pa ako.

Pagkatapos kong mag-log in ay pumunta ako sa hilera ng nobelang mga libro. I looked for the catchy book titles and read their sypnosis.

"The Black Rose." I read the title of the last book that I've got. "Looks exciting---"

Napatigil ako ng isang malamig na bagay ang nasa leeg ko. Agad kong naramdaman ang hapdi ng dumiin ang aking balat dito. A knife and whoever holding it wants me dead.

"Who are you?" I asked with a shaky voice.

"I'm your death, Azariah. You are no longer part of this battle. We will win!" He said and before I could ask for help I felt a cold sharp knife that slashed my throat.

Narinig ko ang pagbagsakan ng dala kong mga libro bago ako tuluyang humandusay. I heard someone shouted before I took my last breath.

Agad akong nagmulat ng mga mata nang marinig ang doorbell ng kung sinuman sa labas ng aking kwarto. Pagod at hingal kong binuksan ang aking pinto kung saan naabutan ko si Galla na nakangiting sumalubong sa akin.

"Hey! Did I wake you up?" Aniya bago tuluyang pumasok.

"No. Not really." I said tiredly, still haven't recovered to my freaking dream.

"Anong oras kang natulog no?" Nilapag niya ang pagkaing dala niya sa aking table bago umupo sa kama. "Anyway, I brought us food. Let's have breakfast together since Gallo is busy investigating with Farius."

"Thanks for the food." Aniko bago ako humikab. I slept late last night because I finished reading my book.

Inayos niya ang kaniyang dala bago binigay sa akin ang parte ko.

"So... What are your plans for today?" She asked me. "Let's go shopping? I've heard there will be a party for us on the first day of next month."

"No. Not now, Galla. Sorry. Maybe next week?"

"Alright. Well, today is not a perfect day for that. We're still mourning for Isabelle's death." She said and smiled sadly.

After we finished eating she went back to her dorm and I did my morning routine.

Pagkatapos kong suotin ang aking sapatos ay lumabas ako ng dorm upang kumuha ng mga bagong libro. I sighed when I recalled my dream. What a freaking dream.

Naglakad lamang ako papunta sa library ngunit nang makita si Farius ay agad ko siyang nilapitan.

"Goodmorning, Farius!" I greeted him.

"Azariah, please be safe." My smile faded when he said the exact words he told me in my dream.

"You told me that exact words in my dream, Farius." I said slowly.

"Huh?" Kunot-noo niyang tanong. Agad akong umiling.

"Nevermind. It's just a coincidence, I think..." I said before leaving him.

Agad akong pumunta sa library at naglog-in. I looked at the digital clock and It's 11:34 a.m just like in my dream. I understand now. That dream is not just a dream, It's a warning.

Gaya ng aking plano sa panaginip ay pumunta ako sa hilera ng nobelang mga libro. Kinuha ko ang mga libro na kinuha ko sa aking panaginip bago kinuha ang panghuling libro.

"The Black Rose." Malamig kong wika bago humarap sa aking likod.

Malakas akong sumipa sa aking harap na para bang may tao rito. As I've expected, the shelves in front of me moved. I saw how the invisible man in front of me showed up himself.

I immediately connect our minds and order him to obey me.

"Come with me." I said coldly before walking towards the office of the director. "Make yourself invisible."

Nang makalabas sa hilera ng mga libro ay naglakad ako papunta sa librarian at sinulat ang time ng pag-log out ko. I smiled at her when she asked something.

"May nakita ka bang mga couple na naglalampungan, hija? May narinig kase akong kalabog kanina baka may naglalampungan na naman dito."

"Wala po, Ma'am." I said nicely. Umalis ako roon ng walang nakakapansin kasama ang lalaking papatay dapat sa akin doon.

Nagulat ang director sa akin sa pagsulpot ko sa kaniyang opisina.

"Show yourself." I told the idiot who wants to kill me.

"Who's him?" The director asked curiously.

"Someone who wants me dead." I said. "I have foreseen in my dream that he killed me. If I wasn't able to understood my dream, I might be dead by now."

"Job well done, then, Miss Wooston. Now, let's get him to the investigation room."

Nang maipasok namin siya sa investigation room ay agad na nag-angat ng ulo si Farius. Bumagsak ang tingin niya sa lalaking blanko lamang na nakatingin sa sahig.

"Who's him?" Farius asked.

"They sent him here to kill Azariah because as we all know, Azariah is a threat to them." The director said. "And you're here to investigate him, Mr.Walter. Of course, with the help of Miss Wooston."

"Answer every question that will be asked to you. Honestly and Clearly." I said through my mind.

"Why do want to kill Azariah?" Farius asked coldly.

"She's a threat to us."

"Who ordered you to kill her?"

"My master." He answered with no emotions.

"Who is your master? What's his name?" Farius stood up and looked at him seriously.

"Nobody knows her name. We call her 'Master'." He said.

"Ah. So, she's a she. Are you the only one who got in here?"

But before he could open his mouth to answer he fell down and our minds disconnected.

"What the hell happened?!" Farius shouted.

"I-I don't know!" Lumuhod ako sa harap ng lalaki at pinakiramdaman ang kaniyang pulso.

Tinignan ko ang director at umiling.

"He's dead."

Third Person's POV

"They got him." The girl said to her master.

"Kill him. He's now useless." The master said with a cold and ruthless tone.

"But, Mas--" The girl stopped when a black smoke surrounded her neck that made her unable to breathe.

"Do it. Now."

The girl did what her master said. She breathe heavily and sighed when the black smoke faded.

"You don't complain to what I ordered you to do. Do you understand?" The Master said slowly that sent shivers to the girl.

"Please, don't kill me, Master! Have mercy on me!" The girl pleaded on her bended knees.

"I won't kill you. You are still useful." She smirked while looking down at her. "Ang labanan ay magaganap kapag ang araw at buwan ay naging isa. And I will kill her. I will kill Azariah Wooston just like what I did to her family."

Her voice echoed when she laughed loudly like a crazy bitch.
