Chapter 10

"The food around here is awesome."  Bumper moaned as he ate his breakfast.

"I know dude. I'm gonna savour this before we have to go back home." Donald smiled.

"Did I ever tell you that you guys eat like pigs?" Aubrey asked.

"I don't care what you say. This is good and I'm gonna eat it anyway I want."  Bumper said.

"Whatever." Aubrey rolled her eyes.

They sat down and had their breakfast. Soon Mike came down to the dinning room with Emily in his arms. He was holding her bridal style.

"I can't believe that in less than 48 hours you'll be 21!" Mike smiled.

"I'm not 21 yet! You can put me down." Emily giggled as Mike put her in her chair.

"I'm just happy. The day we get back home you'll be 21!" Mike yelled.

"Really dad, leave the girl be. She's not even 21 yet and you're already going overboard." Katherine chuckled.

"You guys are no fun. I have to go I'll see you at the concert tonight." Mike said before kissing Katherine and Emily on the cheek. He then ruffled Jesse's hair and gave Beca a fist bump.

"You three want breakfast?" Katherine asked.

"Yes please." the siblings smiled, Jesse and Beca sat down next to Emily.

Later their food arrived and they had breakfast. Jesse was pretty much on his phone the entire time. He seemed really invested in what he was doing so no one thought to disturb him.

Once everyone was done with breakfast they went up to their rooms to change. They had to leave in 4 hours.

Aubrey heard a knock on her door before it flew open. "I need your help." Jesse said with his eyes glued to his phone.

"You don't just barge into a lady's room like that." Aubrey said.

"Sorry I just really need your help. What do you get someone who doesn't want anything for their birthday?" Jesse threw himself onto her bed.

"Nothing. If they don't want anything don't get them anything." Aubrey smiled at the frustrated boy.

"It's her 21st birthday she can't not want something. Why is being a good brother so hard." Jesse groaned and Aubrey laughed.

"Why don't you just ask her what she wants?"

"Because it has to be a surprise." Jesse sighed and Aubrey smiled. She then threw herself onto him.

"Oof." Jesse said as Aubrey landed on him. "So I decided to buy her a charm bracelet. I need you to help me pick one out."

"Sure thing." Aubrey smiled and Jesse took out his phone to show Aubrey the bracelets.

After two hours of looking threw the phone and Jesse's terrible jokes they found the perfect gift. Aubrey was looking up at the boy while he smiled at her.

They were quite for about thirty minutes and they were cool with it. They were just basking in the ambience. Aubrey even took a little nap which was disturbed by a knock on her door.

"Aubrey open up! I think I left my phone in your room!" Chloe yelled through the door.

"Go away I'm napping!" Aubrey grumbled.

"Aubrey Posen open this door right now!" Chloe yelled sternly.

"No!" Aubrey yelled before going back to laying her head on Jesse's chest. She then heard the door open.

"Oh My Gosh Bree!" Chloe yelled.

"What?! What happened?!" Aubrey asked looking at her best friend with concern. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"No, you and Jesse Mitchell are a thing?" Chloe asked unbelievably.

"Not a thing exactly. I haven't asked her to be girlfriend yet so..." Jesse trailed off.

"Your phone is next to my suitcase." Aubrey said before going back to her nap.

"Okay? The bus leaves in an hour, so be ready by then." Chloe said and Aubrey nodded. She walked out the door and went straight to her room were Beca was laying on her bed looking threw her phone.

"You'll never guess what I just saw." Chloe chuckled.

"A chicken wearing a dress." Beca guessed.

"What? Why would a chicken be wearing a...never mind. I saw-"

"Giraffes in a conga line." Beca guessed once again.

"Becs stop guessing! I saw my best friend asleep on your brother." Chloe said.

"Well that sounds unbelievable. Are you sure?" Beca raised an eyebrow.

"Yep. That's what I saw when I walked into the room." Chloe said.

"Well I guess I'm getting a new sister in law." Beca smirked  and Chloe laughed.

"Get up lazy bones. You have to go get dressed before we leave." Chloe told the girl.

"What's wrong with what I'm wearing now?" Beca raised an eyebrow.

"You're wearing pyjamas Becs."

"What's wrong with that? Katherine says we have to be comfortable and I'm super comfortable in my pjs."

"You're so weird." Chloe chuckled softly as she gave Beca a side hug.

After awhile Beca eventually went to change and everyone got on the bus to their concert venue. They all went to go get dressed in their outfits.

"I'm so happy to be going back home tomorrow." Emily smiled.

"We leave early in the morning, so I'm not exactly as excited." Beca sighed.

"I'm just happy to see Duke, Billie and Tupac again." Jesse smiled.

"I guess I do kinda miss those fur balls." Beca smiled.

"I knew you loved them." Jesse smirked.

"You can talk about your pets later, right now I need you to go on stage to introduce the first act." Katherine smiled and the kids nodded before getting up and grabbing their mics.

After everyone was done performing they went to change and wait for the bus to pick them up.

While waiting Stacie and Emily were in a deep conversation about llamas. Chloe was making Beca look through photos they took while in France. Aubrey was listening to Jesse tell uncle jokes.

"So that's why those three kept sneaking off to unknown places." Amy whispered to Cynthia as they looked at Stacie, Chloe and Aubrey.

"It all makes sense now." Cynthia nodded.

"I can't believe Aubrey of all people fell for a famous musician." Jessica told Ashley as they looked at the couple.

The bus finally arrived and took them to the hotel. The next morning they flew back to Dynamic's home town.
