i smiled, happy that billie was coming back. she left for soundcheck about two hours ago and i've been on my own ever since. maggie sometimes would come into the greenroom for a bottle of water for billie and finneas but other than that, i'd be on my own.

the door swung open and in walked a disheveled looking billie, her hair a mess and her cheeks with a subtle red to them. i smiled and placed my phone down onto the table in front of me, standing up and opening my arms out wide for billie to walk into.

she closed the door with a bright smile and walked over to me, wrapping her arms around me. i nestled my face into the crook of billie's neck and contently sighed, feeling goosebumps arise on her skin.

"how was soundcheck, bubba?" i asked and i felt her pull away from the hug, leaving me with a pout on my lips.

"it was so good. we rehearsed the new stage set up and figured out where i'm going to be at the beginning after i fall out of the bed. oh my god, i can't wait to show my babies this." she happily said with a smile on her lips. i couldn't help but mirror her smile on my lips, watching her talk about the things she loved.

"i'm so proud of you, bubba." i told her and she gave me the biggest smile before tackling me into a hug, making me fall onto the floor with her on top of me.

we both laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world. billie rolled off me and stood herself up, holding a hand out for me to grab. once we had gotten up and our laughter had died down, billie laid herself onto the couch and opened her arms wide for me to lay down in.

i smiled and blushed before getting into her arms, billie's baggy clothes making it even more comfortable. i also wore a baggy sweater but we all know billie's clothes are way baggier. i turned over, looking into her piercing blue eyes with a smile. i'm so in love with this girl.

"what are you staring at, bozo?" she asked with a cute smile on her face. i shook my head playfully and we both laughed.

i continued to stare into her eyes, wondering how the hell i managed to get so lucky. billie could have anyone she wanted and she chose me. that in itself was a huge honour.

i closed my thoughts when i pressed my lips against hers. she smiled into the kiss before placing one hand on my waist and the other in my hair whilst i placed one hand onto her jaw. billie's lips were unimaginably soft, the aquaphor really paying off for her.

we broke the kiss and i looked at billie who's lips were a little swollen and her hair was a mess, from rehearsals and from kissing. i glanced back into her blue orbs and she looked into mine, a smile on both of our faces.

"i'm so in love with you, billie eilish pirate baird o'connell." i told her and this only made her smile grow even larger.

"and i'm so in love with you, isla jade winters." billie replied.

i pressed my lips onto hers again. the kiss was so gentle, almost as if we would break if we put too much force into it. she licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance which i gladly accepted. her tongue danced around mine so gently whilst my head began spinning. this kiss was not like any of the others we had shared in the past, this one was filled with love and only love.

billie pulled away from the kiss, making me whine at the loss of contact. billie chuckled, pulling me into her by my waist. i got as close as i possibly could to her and the smell of vanilla took over my senses. i nestled my face into the crook of her neck and slung an arm over her waist, holding her tight.

billie's hand reached up into my hair and softly tugged at it, making me sigh happily. her fingertips gently grazed my scalp and i felt my eyes starting to become more heavy. i felt billie press a kiss on my head and she got comfortable, shuffling around a little. her face was now nestled into my neck and i was basically on top of her. one of her arms sat around my waist tightly, while the other was intertwined into my hair.

i pressed a small kiss on her neck, feeling her shudder underneath me. i smiled and continued to pepper tiny kisses while she gently scratched my scalp with her long acrylic nails. the pleasure soon took over me and i felt myself drifting off into a sleep, the love of my life wrapped up in my arms.
