I wake up to someone whispering "Wake up, Sadie." And someone judging me.
I was laying on my stomach when I was sleeping, so I sit straight.
"Morning, Finn." I said as I rubbed my eyes.
"I thought we could wake up a little early, have breakfast at this diner and then we can leave." Finn said.
"We could hit the road sooner." I said.
"Yeah." Finn said. "I already took a shower, and got ready, I'm just gonna wait for you to get ready."
"Did you sleep well?" I asked.
"Yeah, I fell off the bed once but nothing much to it." Finn said.
"I'm very sorry." I said.
"How come?" Finn asked.
"You gave up a night of good nights sleep for me." I said.
"You're— it's worth it." Finn said.
"It's?" I asked.
"Y'know, the movie, my friends said if I met someone like you, we'd never run out of shit to talk about." Finn said.
"I'm gonna go get ready." I said.
"Alright, I'll be here." He said as I stood up and walked to the bathroom.

"Are you ready?" Finn said.
I took a gulp, I couldn't back out now.
"Yeah, I am." I answered.
We walked down the stairs and walked to a diner near by with our luggage.
"What do you wanna order, Sadie?" Finn asked.
"Ahh, what a gentleman, not deciding what I should eat like a proper man." I said.
"I consider myself a feminist." Finn said in a sarcastic tone.
I laughed.
"Y'know, I'm such a feminist, I'll let you pick my breakfast." Finn said.
"Wow, what an honour." I said in a sarcastic tone.
"Yeah, I know." Finn said.
I laughed.
The waitress came.
"Hello, I'm Tiana, I'll be taking your order." She said.
"Hey, Tiana." Finn said.
I skimmed through the menu.
"Hi." I said in a friendly voice.
"What would you like?" Tiana asked.
"I would like to take the vegan pancakes, and some lemonade, Finn here will have a waffle and milk." I answered for the both of us.
"Oh, wow, a woman speaking for a boy, never seen that one before." Tiana chuckled.
"I told her she could choose." Finn said. "Y'know, switch the roles, be in a woman's shoes for a while."
"Oooh, I like you." Tiana said.
Finn chuckled. "Oh, stop it!"
"Anyways, your breakfast will be here soon." She said as she walked away.
"Are you crazy woman?!" Finn said.
"What?" I asked in confusion and worry.
"You're making me eat WAFFLES?" Finn said in a threatening voice.
"What's wrong with waffles?" I asked.
"How do you think I keep my body this perfect?" Finn asked with an obnoxious scoff.
I laughed, nearly squirting water out of my nose.
"How are you such a charmer?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Everyone just likes you." I said.
"No, just the people I want to like, like you." Finn said.
"Oh stop it!" I mocked.
"Ha." Finn said. "Ha."
"That lady really likes you, you should ask for her number." I suggested.
I was so comfortable with Finn, I had completely forgotten he was filming. It's like, when I was talking to him nothing mattered.
"Nah, I'm actually just getting over a breakup, I don't wanna date right now." Finn said.
"Who were you dating?" I asked.
"Just a girl from my high school, I saw her making out with my best friend." Finn said.
"I'm sorry about that." I said.
"No, my best friend at the time was a girl, she ended up being lesbian." Finn said. "Kinda funny, don't you think?" He chuckled.
"I guess it is." I said.
"Have you ever dated someone?" Finn asked.
"I am married to Nicholas from the second grade so, I am not single." Sadie said.
Finn chuckled.
"No, I'm being serious." Finn asked. "You ever dated someone?"
I chuckled. "This one guy, he was an asshole though, always telling me what to wear, what to eat, pointing out all my flaws." I answered. "We only lasted like 5 weeks."
Tiana brought out our food.
"Thank you." I said in a cheery way.
Finn nodded at her and she walked away.
We both ate, with small conversations in between.
"Now that you've eaten a whole waffle, aren't you worried about your body structure?" I laugh.
"Well, since i need to get my figure back." Finn says. "We should start walking."
I stand up and we walked toward the exit of the diner.
"I thought we were hitchhiking?" I said with a pinch of confusion.
"Yeah, I thought we could just hitchhike when it's late at night." Finn said.
"Yeah, that should work." I said.
"Plus, it'll give us more time to talk." Finn said.
"Yeah, I'll find out what type of person you are." I said.
"What type of person do you think I am?" Finn said as he held out the door for me and I walked out.
"Hmm, an axe murderer who abducts teens at 3 A.M. and makes them think they're hitchhiking and just puts into a random truck hood and kills." I answered.
"Ahh, yourself aware of all the danger you're putting yourself into." Finn chuckled. "You have exposed."
"What type of person do you think I am?" I asked.
"A karate kid, ready to beat me up for trying to kidnap you." Finn answered.
I did (well I tried) a basic karate move and yelled "Hi-ya!"
Finn laughed.
