The Past, 2012
Izuku's Backstory Part 2. How Izuku earned respect.
- - -
Izuku was a smart child. He was very kind, loving, and had respect for others. The one thing Izuku wasn't, was 'useless'.
When Izuku was little, around four years old. He was expecting to develop a quirk. He didn't. Izuku told his best friend, his Kacchan, and Katsuki accepted him. This made Izuku happy. He felt ecstatic that his best friend didn't care if he didn't have a quirk or not! However, happiness doesn't last forever... At least, not in this world.
2nd Grade...
*RING* *RING* *RING*
The intercom soon went off, "It is now 2:00 pm, the school day is over. Have a good day."
Izuku's POV
'Huh? Oh, the bell rang. It's time to go home. 'm gonna stay here and wait for Kacchan to come to get me. I don't want to get him hurt if they decide to pick on me but, I also don't wanna lose another set of hearing aids and have to lie to my mother. Losing two sets of hearing aids in one week isn't very ideal for me.'
3rd Person POV
You see Izuku lying to his mother is a regular occurrence. He wants to become a hero. However, there's one issue that makes his goal seem impossible. He 'sadly' doesn't have a quirk. Izuku is the only person in his and Katsuki's elementary school that doesn't have one. If he were to have any quirk at all. Weak or strong. Anything would have been better than not having a quirk at all, at least that's what all the other people thought.
Izuku has a high IQ, for his age, so he knows the difference between right and wrong. He knows about bullying. He knows it's wrong, and he wants to stop it, but he can't. Izuku was bullied from a young age. Ever since he was four and turned out quirkless to now where he is eight and is in second grade, he was bullied.
Not having a quirk means you have to be able to defend yourself in case of being attacked or in this case, being bullied.
Izuku doesn't know how to fight.
At least, not yet.
He is planning on going to vigorous martial arts lessons soon to get his fight style down. He wanted to learn martial arts to gain strength and flexibility, after he has that down he's going to be training with Katsuki so he can work on his technique. Today, after school actually is his first day to start learning martial arts. After that, he will start training with his pomeranian of a friend. However, the school has to finish first.
Izuku already knows what he wants to do. He wants to be able to fight in hand-to-hand combat and be able to use weapons. Like a knife and brass knuckles. He also already has a goal he wants to accomplish with his childhood best friend.
