*ARCHIVED* Chapter 6: The Four Elements

I keep Lilly in the corner and I peek out a little to see guards with guns but among the crowd I see Light and Malyia both handcuffed. This is bad. I get up and hear Lilly groan. "Shh...shh...stay quiet." I lightly touch her arm but move away;it's burning, and end up in sight of the guards. "Hey! You there! Stay where you are!" One guard yells. I walk forward my hands shaking in partial fear. "I said stop where you are! Now or I'll shoot!" I glance down down at my hands and take a huge risk with this unknown ability.  I stick my hand out and try to force something to happen. 

Air blasts out of my hand and in the man is blown across the hall. I back away in shock, afraid of what else my hand can do. The other guards look as shocked as I as, dropping their weapons and backing off. Light looks at me somewhat pleased. And Malyia grins.  "What. Did. I. Just. Do." I ask staring down at my hands.

"You found your element." Malyia says.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I rub my hand which starts to ache.

"What she means, is that you're coming with us."

"'With us'? Who is 'Us'?"

"You'll learn, soon enough."

"Wait a sec, there's an 'us'? There's an 'us' and we don't even know who took us?" I say gesturing to the four of us in the hallway.

"We can talk about this later. We have to go." Malyia says.

"Wait. Lilly is with me, she doesn't feel too good." I lead them to where she is, and Maylia frowns.

"Oh dear." Malyia touches Lilly's forehead. "Grab a hand." She picks up Lilly effortlessly and I grab Lights hand lightly but he grips mine. Malyia looks at me. "You ready?"

"Ready for-" Suddenly in the blink of an eye we are in Lilly's room. Malyia grabs Lilly and places her on the bed. She turns to me. "Go downstairs with Light, find healing materials in the basement." She turns to Light. "You know what to do."

Light leaves and I reluctantly follow.

Oh dear. This will be interesting.

"I can't find anything. You?"

I turn around. "Nothing." Light responds. "How are we ever gonna find anything in here? Its so messy!" Malyia's basement is a simple small room with dingy walls and boxes filled with who knows what. "Hey Mirabella come here for a minute, I need a little help." I walk to him but trip over box and fall into his arms. "You okay?"

"Fine thanks."

He helps me up and I straighten myself. " Now that I made complete fool of myself, what do you need?"

"A little help" He's stalling.

"I know your lying. Tell me the truth please." He sighs. "Your the healing material."

"Hmph. What do ya know! I have someone to heal. Great."

"Its okay I understand. I went thorough the exact same thing. We just have to see."

"See what?"

"If your power and strength are what we anticipated."

"What are you saying that this is some goddamn test?!"

"No but yes. We are trying to find out if what Lilly saw-what you saw-is....real."
