Warning: There's gonna be a shit-ton of dialogue in this chapter.

I also suck at descriptions of anything.

So.

Yeah.

Gabriel's P.O.V.

"Wha-what? My mom told me my biological parents were dead!" I exclaimed, "She said that's why I was adopted!"

"Yes, I know, Gabriel. I was the one to tell her that," she replied.

"Why? Why did you give me up? Did you not want me?" I questioned.

She sighed. "It was to protect you."

"From what?" I asked.

She waited a bit before responding, "Your father."

Let's kill him. He sounds evil. Fenris suggested. I ignored him.

"Who is he?"

She sighed again, "I'll tell you everything when we get to my house."

I agreed, not seeing any other option, and she began walking back into the forest with me following close behind. She seemed to know the forest like the back of her hand as she guided me along a trail that only she could see which perfectly avoided any obstacle.

After an hour or two of walking, we finally reached another clearing, in which was a small cabin, along with an old run-down shed.

The cabin was one of those stereotypical log cabins with a stone chimney and porch and everything else a house in the middle of the woods might have. Peering through the windows as we approached the door, the lights on the inside were on. Did my mother live with someone?

We walked up the steps to the porch and she opened the door, dramatically gesturing inside.

"Welcome, my son, to my humble abode!" she exclaimed.

I stepped inside, my mother closing the door behind me. I looked around on the inside. The cabin had a nice rustic look, with fur rugs on the floor and dim lighting, which came from fancy-looking lamps mounted on the walls. Of the rooms that I could see, there was a small kitchen, a cozy living room, and the stairs leading up. There was also a door under the stairs that was closed. The basement, maybe?

As I walked over to the small couch, I heard the sound of a door opening upstairs. Both of my wolves immediately tensed in case there was a threat inside the house. Involuntarily, a growl left my throat and my claws came out. But in the blink of an eye, I was being held by the neck against the wall.

"Who are you? Why are you here? Mom, who is this?" the girl in front of me asked.

"Oh, Ellie, put him down. He's no threat," my mother admonished.

The girl, Ellie, simply said, "Okay," and released me. I fell onto the floor, clutching my neck.

"O-ow. . ."

Ellie winced.

"Sorry about that."

"That's the second injury I've gotten since my pack threw me out. Wait a second. What happened to my broken ribs?" I rambled to myself. I took a deep breath, only to find that they no longer hurt. In fact, I realized, they had stopped hurting as soon as I had shifted into my wolf. Maybe I healed instantly when I shifted from human to wolf? I'd never heard of that before.

"Wait a second," Ellie said, "Your pack threw you out? What horrible thing did you do? Mom, is he gonna kill us in our sleep?"

"To answer your questions, yes, my wolf attacked the Alpha's son to attempt to kill him, and no." I responded.

"Well damn. Your wolf is a psychopath."

To that, Fenris forced my mouth open.

Thank you. I try.

Did he- Fenris just made a joke!

"Was that your wolf? I wish I had one..." she trailed off. "I'm gonna go train. Bye!" she raced off out the door as fast as she had come down the stairs. Well, that was weird.

"Mom?" I asked

"Yes?" she answered tiredly.

"Why? Why abandon only one of your kids? Was I that awful that you gave me away?!" I ended, shouting.

"I guess I deserve that," she said sheepishly. "Well, for one, your father wanted to take you away from me and turn you into the monster that he is. And Ellie, the girl you just saw, isn't your biological sister. I found her when she was six, wandering aimlessly through the woods, with no memory but her first name, birthday, and age. Kind of like the Maze Runner. I couldn't just let her die, and even though I wanted to go get you, you already knew my sister's family as your own."

"Wait. So that means that my adoptive mother is actually my aunt. And what did Ellie mean earlier when she said something about wishing she had a wolf. Wouldn't she have shifted by now? She looks about the same age as me, and I've shifted." I asked, still a little hysterical.

"Ellie. . . Ellie is a bit of a special case. She should've shifted by now. All wolves shift by their 15th birthday, no later. But when her birthday came a few weeks ago, she didn't shift. But yet she's most likely stronger than an alpha."

"An Alpha?! No way. No one is stronger than an alpha," I said, disbelievingly.

She shrugged her shoulders, "Well, she beat me when she was only twelve."

"You're an Alpha?!"

"Was an Alpha. Before your father," she said, spitting out the word like poison, "Decided to wipe out my entire pack."

After that, she turned on her heel and stalked away upstairs. I heard a door slam.

A few minutes later, the door opened as she stuck her head out.

"And don't you dare think that just because you're a rogue that you don't have to go to school. I'm enrolling you at the local highschool starting Monday."

She stuck her head back in and, once again, slammed the door.

"I'm gonna kill him." I told my wolves.

Cylix was the first to respond about killing someone for once.

Okay! When can we go? I wanna kill someone for once. Fenris always gets all the fun.

I do not! I'm just a better fighter! Fenris responded, offended.

Both of them continued to bicker about who would get to kill my father while I decided to go see where Ellie had run off to, since there was nothing else to do.

So that's the chapter. Gabe now has an adopted sister named Ellie who apparently is stronger than an alpha.

His mom used to be an alpha.

His dad wiped out his mom's entire pack and is a maniacal psychopath.

Comments are always appreciated because I want to know what parts suck.

Voting would make my day.

Until tomorrow, which I plan to update again.
