                       -9pm, Friday, August 11th-
Isabella paces around her apartment, as multiple mugs lie around her kitchen. She's been worked up over trying to figure out how to address the court tomorrow afternoon, and she's almost got the perfect strategy built up.
"Alright, let's run this through one more time. I enter by making it seem like an even argument, and just near the end, I whip out-"
There's a knock at the door, Isabella stops her pondering and goes over to answer it. She opens the door to see Jaydee standing there with a container.
"Ah, what brings you to my humble apartment at this hour?" Isabella asks, leaning against the door frame.
"Well I haven't heard from you all day, and then I went to the cafe to see if you were there, and your mom said you hadn't stopped by at all. So she told me your address, and I got a taxi ride here myself." Jaydee explains.
"Huh, anyways. Come on in, I've just been in deep thought all day."
Isabella leads Jaydee inside while closing the door behind him, as he immediately notices all the mugs of coffee, some freshly brewed and others have been there a while.
"Izzy darling, how much coffee have you had today?" he asks, clearly concerned.
"At least one per hour since I woke up at 12... I drink a lot of coffee when I'm stressed, if you couldn't tell already." she explains.
"Alright, that's too much. I'm cutting you off there, lets get you some water." he begins to pour the coffee in the sink, as Isabella has a sigh of relief.
"I like the sound of that, I need to calm down..." she plops down on her couch.
"Just a bit~ I also have a surprise for you," he adds, getting a bottle of water from the fridge and tossing it at her, "I've spent all day working on it."
"Really?" Isabella takes a quick sip of the water as Jaydee sits next to her, still holding the container, "What did you do now?"
             "I baked cookies!"
Jaydee excitedly opens the container, revealing a dozen chocolate chip cookies, and Isabella gives him a smirk.
"I must say, these look good! How long did it take you to get the perfect batch?" she asks, taking a cookie to try.
"All day... I burnt them so many times, I then just watched a Youtube video and it solved all my problems. I've made enough for a dozen for each of us." he explains, eagerly waiting to see what she thinks, "So how do they taste?"
Isabella's eyes light up in awe, as she gives a quick thumbs up while still chewing the cookie.
"YES!" Jaydee stands up in a victory stance, "I'VE BAKED GOOD FOOD!"
"You did indeed, just keep out quiet before you wake the neighbors please..."
"Right, sorry. So how's the plan for tomorrow coming along?"he sits back down.
"It's all planned in case anything happens, I've had 9 hours and cups of coffee to help me with that."
"Wow... That's impressive. But with all business done here, I should be going home-"
"You don't have to, after all its raining outside. And something tells me you ran here from the cafe."
"I- yeah I did... But what can I do? We both gotta be ready for 12pm tomorrow, so I think we both need some sleep." Jaydee stands up and is about to leave.
Isabella quickly grabs Jaydee's hand, as he stops and look back at her. She's giving a sly smirk and look as she pulls him back towards her, and he's practically leaning on her.
"I could use some entertainment, how about we play a game? I got the perfect one in mind~"
           "Like... UNO?"
"Well we can play that later, I mean how about we just take seven minutes to ourselves, and pretend that nothing else is going on?"
  "O-OH! Um~ I mean it'll be a first for me I guess."
"Same, but there's no time like the present, am I right?"
And just like that, she leads him to her bedroom, where all the blinds are closed and the lights are dimmed. Isabella closes the door behind her as just moments later, Jaydee turns her around and kisses her, while pressing her against the door.
She tightly wraps her arms around his neck, and proceeds to wrap her legs around him too. The soft and tenderness of his kisses are still a thing she's getting used to, as the quick breathes between kisses are still getting in the way of the moment lasting longer.
And about halfway through, he takes her over to the bed and lays her down, while getting on top of her. Jaydee then begins to work his way down Isabella's body, starting with the neck. A soft moan escapes her mouth as he leaves a mark on her neck, just before he decides to head back to her lips.

A few minutes later, Jaydee breaks apart from Isabella and lays next to her, both of them catching their breath.
"That- that was something." Jaydee finally says, his breathing staring to regulate.
"Yeah, it's a great experience I must say." Isabella adds, a smile coming across her face.
"Maybe we should do it again sometime?" he asks, giving a smile while looking at her.
"Sounds like a plan," she looks at him, "so you wanted to play UNO?"
"Oh yeah~ I almost forgot about that! Yeah sure I'm down for that. Though I may warn you that I'm pretty good at it."
They both stand up and head out to the kitchen island, and Isabella takes out a pack of UNO cards. She deals out the cards and lays the rest of the pack on the island.
"You ready to lose?" she asks, going though her cards.
"Sure, let's call it that. I start first right?" he asks, looking through his cards as well.
"Indeed," she flips over the top card to reveal a Green 6, "you may begin."
Jaydee has an evil smirk on his face, as he begins laying out all his cards in order.
"Skip your turn, skip your turn again, same again, back to me, it's still going, my turn again, UNO, and~," he lays down his final card, "A Blue 3. I believe I win, if I'm correct?"
Isabella looks in pure shock, never had she seen such luck in her life.
"H-how?! How did you manage to get all those cards?!" she asks, laying her cards down in defeat.
"I think you forgot to shuffle them." he responds, holding back a small laugh.
"...You know that makes perfect sense, I did forget to shuffle the deck!"
They both then burst out into laughter, neither of them believing how stupid that was.

They continue to play on for another hour, until they realize what time it is. Isabella then drives Jaydee home to his front door, where there is no longer a paparazzi waiting for him. She walks with him up to the front door.
"Well, I can agree that I had a great time with you tonight." Jaydee says, from the inside of his door frame.
"Indeed, I guess the next time I'll see you, we'll be in court, to prove everything right as it is. Are you ready for that?" Isabella adds, both her hands in her pockets.
"Oh! I need to find a suit to wear! Thanks for reminding me!"
"Of course you idiot," she laughs at him, "I've already gotten my whole outfit ready, though I'll need to decide what to wear for our date tomorrow night. I should go and do that~"
           "Reasonable."
    They stand there in silence.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow then." Jaydee says.
"Same to you," Isabella gives him a quick kiss on the lips before running back to her car,"Wish me luck falling asleep after all the coffee!"
        "Already done!"
