________

I finally pull into the driveway of the tiny house I had found. It wasn't much but it was enough.

The house had a master bedroom with an attached bathroom and walk-in closet; it also had another bedroom and bathroom, then the basics of a house—kitchen and living room.

I was starting school tomorrow at Forks High, so I needed to get the boxes inside and unpack quickly. That shouldn't be an issue.

-

I surveyed the neighborhood, listening for anything that would tell me that someone was outside. When I heard nothing I quickly threw open one of the backseat doors, grabbing boxes and running them inside.

This was the fastest method and I was glad that it was late and I could use it. I was lazy and honestly didn't want to go back and forth for the next 30 minutes.

It didn't take me long as I closed my trunk with the last bag in hand and locked my car.

I wasted no time in unpacking as I had all night but I'd like to relax some before I had to start getting ready for school.

I dashed around the house—upstairs and downstairs—making sure I put everything in its rightful place.

While I was putting my dishes and such away, I had realized that I'd need to go grocery shopping soon. Yes I may be a vampire, but I don't exactly need blood very often; I maybe only need it around once a week; otherwise, I'm fine. I don't have to worry about controlling myself as much because of that; however, hen I do need to drink blood, I tend to drink from animals.

I don't particularly prefer drinking from humans, but if my powers are draining me, I'm forced to do so. Though when it comes to choosing someone, I try to make sure that it's someone that deserves it—as I feel I'm saving more lives than I'm taking.

Once I realized I was fully unpacked and can relax, I propped myself down on the couch and switched the TV on. I pulled my phone out checking the time seeing that it's only four in the morning. I had about two hours till I needed to begin getting ready for the day.

I have to be at the school early to get all the papers and forms I need. I'm hoping I won't attract too much attention, but considering it's January, and I'm starting as a junior, I'm sure people will still take notice of my presence.

Anyways, I'm sure my first day will go just splendid, how bad could it be?
