"Okay so I don't know about everyone else, but I'm starving." I laugh out, glancing around at everyone's faces.

Carlisle stands up and turns to the rest of his family, "Well let's go hunting, and we need to show Masen the treaty line."

"The what now?" I question, looking to Carlisle for the answer.

He sighs and sits back down on the couch. I follow along when he waves his hand in a gesture for me to sit.

"Can you hold off on hunting for a couple moments longer so we can explain the treaty?" Carlisle asks and I nod my head while leaning back in the seat.

Carlisle clears his throat and begins speaking. "When we arrived here for the very first time I believe it was around nineteen thirty-six (1936). We were in the forrest hunting and the Quilette Tribe found us and knew what we were. They were prepared to kill us on sight but I spoke with the tribe leader, Ephraim Black, that we didn't hunt humans and that we were no harm to them. That we want to live in peace with humans and coexist. He allowed us to stay on our side of Forks as long as we don't go to La Push, which is where the Quilette's reside." Carlisle looks over to Edward and he nods his head and takes over for Carlisle.

"We do have rules though— to keep the treaty intact. We cannot injure any humans, either by hunting them for food or by transforming them into vampires, and we never trespass on Quileute land. Carlisle agreed to these terms and proposed adding the concept of mutual secrecy: The Quileutes would not be able to tell anyone the true nature us, and vice versa." Edward finished his explanation, however looked back to Carlisle.

I looked along with him and raised my eyebrow in question.

Were we not done yet? Sorry I get cranky when I'm hungry.

Edward let out a loud laugh and we all looked over to him in confusion.

I then facepalmed as he explained why, "Masen gets cranky when she's hungry we should hurry up." He manages to get out through laughs.

"Glad I'm amusing to you." I mutter sarcastically, then look over to Carlisle for him to finish the story.

"Well back then three of the men from the Quilette tribe: Ephraim Black, Levi Uley, and Quil Ateara II were all spirit warriors. Which means that they have the ability to phase into wolves. Now these wolves are as big as a horse. We do not harm them. We don't even see them exactly either, because they stay true to the treaty as do we. By saying that, these wolves still exist however they're not the same men they were back then. The wolves now are descendants from the original three." He finishes and scans over my face.

I'm shocked. Never in my life would I have expected that. Huh, well okay.

I slowly nod my head and stand up. "Okay then, can we go hunt now?" I pout using my puppy dog eyes.

They all eagerly nod and lead the way. We run to a river and stop.

"Why'd we stop?" I ask, already becoming upset.

Emmett shushes me and nods his head to look across the river. I follow to where he has me look and suddenly a huge chocolate brown wolf stocks out of the forest.

My eyes widen and my jaw drops. I know Carlisle said they were huge but I didn't know that they really truly were.

Suddenly thoughts push their way into my brain.

"Who are you?"
