Chapter 3 Part 3

The next morning, you woke up and decided to check up on Angie.

You go out to see Shuichi, Maki and Kaito heading to the fourth floor too.

The four of you go to Angie's lab but to find that the door is locked. You tried the other door, but it was lock too.

"This doesn't make any sense." You say.

"What doesn't?" Kokichi said.

"Kokichi." Shuichi glared. "What are YOU doing here?"

"What?" Kokichi giggled. "Just thought I'd check in or stop our destruction- I mean Angie."

"Wait," Shuichi says. "you've unlocked and locked Gonta's lab right? With lock picking? Can't you do this here?"

"Well yeah," he says, "if there was a lock. God your so stupid!"

You look at the doors to see that there is no lock. Must have been jammed from the inside.

Gonta and Kiibo then appear and ask what's going on. You tell them that Angie's lab is jammed shut and she's not responding. You point out that she might be in danger. Immediately, Gonta breakdowns one of the doors but not the second.

You all see Angie with blood coming from her forehead and the stitched dolls hanging from the ceiling of the lab. She was completely dead with the Necromancer was in her hands.

The body discovery announcement went off and other students came into the lab. You were ready to investigate, so while the counsel prayed to Atua about Angie's death, you read the Monokuma file.

"Angie:
Time of death: Around 3:30 am
Cause of death: a Stab wound to the neck
Other injuries: Hit to the forehead
Place of death: Anthropologist's lab"

The others stopped praying to Atua and you were ready to investigate with them, when Korekiyo said,

"We will not need to investigate. I found this book in Angie's lab that will let us speak with dead. Perhaps it can let us speak with Angie and help us find out who killed her."

"Yes!" Himiko jumped with joy.

"That would make the investigation much shorter." Kiibo said.

"(Y/N)," Korekiyo said, "are you in?"

"No offense Korekiyo," you say, "but that is the the most ridiculous thing, most superficial thing that I've ever heard of. No, count me out."

"We-well," he says, "the option is still there."

"Okay," you say moving towards Angie's body, "suit yourself."

The five of them interested went into the middle room that Himiko picked out.

Meanwhile, you took a look at the crime scene.

You hate the idea of blood and a body, so Maki looked at that. You asked her to give you the Necromancer.

The Necromancer explained the details of the rural. It had some Monokuma drawing in there too.

"Strange." You say to yourself. "The writing on this book looks hand written."

You were investigating the possibility of how close Angie got to using the Necromancer. The Necromancer need to be burned during the rural, so there was little to no evidence that Angie actually brought one of your classmates back.

In the room corners of the room was also some splatters of paint. Black and white. You decide to do an experiment. You held the pages to the light. There was actually typed words that were painted over it. The writing looked like a study on Anthropology.

You look at the sown dolls and see an odd man out. Each of the strings around the dolls were only tied around the waist. However, Ryoma's doll was wrapped around the waist and arm.

You decided to look in the art room on the second floor. You found bucks of paint opened in the lab and a clearly used paintbrush.

All of a sudden, the body discovery announcement went off again and all of you were told to go to the middle room. You ran there to see Himiko crying over Tenko's body.

Eventually, the question of two killers came up.

Monokuma said, "Both killers are considered the blackened. If you vote both of the blackeneds wrong, they get punished and you live your school life. However, if you vote one of them correctly and not for the second one, then the second one goes free. If you vote non of them wrong however, they're will be a standoff! YES! Both of the blackeneds will fight and whoever doesn't get killed goes free. With the cash of course!"

So you and the others had to vote twice and get both of the blackeneds right to survive.

You and Shuichi decided to discuss who to investigate both crime scenes efficiently. Shuichi and Maki investigated Tenko while you continued figuring out Angie's murder.

As you leave the room, the horror of seeing a bleeding Kokichi laying on the floor was there. You stood there terrified until he yelled, "It's a lie!"

You slapped him. "Do ever do that again! Wait, you promised no more lying anyways!"

"Oh well," Kokichi said, "I did know it was you..."

You grabbed Kokichi and dragged him to a First AID kit. After you stopped Kokichi's bleeding, he asked if he could help you. Since he was "so bad at investigating."

You sigh and go to Angie's lab, hold Kokichi's hand. You wanted to make sure he didn't run off again and get hurt.

As soon as you enter Monokuma announces that investigation time is over. Just as you were leaving, you look to a corner of the room that you didn't check.

"Hey." You say. "Isn't that the knife from the Love Hotel?"

The knife from the Love Hotel had blood all over it. It was clearly the murder weapon.

"Look!" Kokichi yelled. "I know this looks bad, bit here me out!"

You back up but don't run and listen.

"I'm being set up!" He said. "I'm being framed!"

"...D-do you have any proof?" You ask.

He says silent.

"Please prove it during the class trial." You say that as you start to rush away.

You felt guilty, because everyone else thought you're a murder. Heck, some people still think that you're a murderer. Even you thought you might be a murderer.

"I'm sorry Kokichi.." you say to yourself entering the Shrine of Judgement.

Kokichi came in last, shortly after you. You were all ready to face fait.
