Odd Ones Out (MINICAT)

♡Chapter two; Day one♡

Craig's POV (yes I changed the title and cover, deal with it cause I kinda like it:)

I woke up expecting to be in a hotel, across the country, but that's not what happened.

I fell off the rather large couch and groaned, pushing myself back up. I looked around seeing it was morning. At first I was fine but then this weird feeling formed inside my stomach. I began panicking, my breathing quickening and my bottom lip quivering not only from the cold but also from the fact I was stuck in here.

I sobbed out and hugged myself, rocking back and forth and trying my hardest to breath normally, to no use though.

"Hey, hey hey calm down." A voice spoke. I look to see Tyler standing there with a few books in hand. I couldn't see the names of them as my vision became blurry from the tears. I sobbed uncontrollably on the floor. Tyler dropped the books he was holding and sat down beside me and began to rub my upper arm in a way to comfort me. I continued to sob and shake as what Tyler was doing had no affect on me whatsoever, but he kept doing it anyway.

"T-that's literally d-doing n-nothing." I said quietly. Tyler chuckled and looked out in front of him. He then swung his arm around my shoulders, pulling me towards him. He rubbed small circles on my other arm now, I leaned into him as my body was growing tired.

Once I had calmed down I pulled away from him, shaking him out of whatever world he was in. "T-thank you for that, Tyler." I wipe a tear from my eye and smile at him, him giving one back.

"What time is it?" He asks as we walk the halls of the school. I shrug and turn a corner which leads to the cafeteria. I push open the doors and walk in, again not holding the doors for Tyler as I didn't trust him nor did I respect him. What happened this morning meant nothing, he only wanted me to shut up most likely so he "comforted me" to keep me quiet. I'm not some dumb bitch, and I'm gonna make him understand that.

I walk over to a vending machine and search through my bag for my wallet. Once finding it I take it out and take out a five, putting it into the machine and clicking buttons A and 2. The machine pushes the treat out of it's place, I watch it fall into the little slot and kneel down and grab it, smiling to myself.

As I was about to open it I notice Tyler sitting at a table not to far from me, he had his head laid in his arms.

He didn't have any money.

I looked down to my treat then back to Tyler. Sighing, I make my way over to him and lightly tap him on the shoulder. He looks up at me and I hand him the treat bag. He raises his eyebrows as if asking "are you giving this to me?" "Take it Ty, you need it more than I do." He hesitates for a second before grabbing it and opening it, the particles flying around the small space.

I sit down beside him and just watch him eat his chips. All of a sudden he stops and looks to me. "Aren't you gonna get yourself something?" He asks. I shake my head and chuckle lightly. "I'm fine, it's okay." "If you say so." He replies before going back to eating his chips.

"So tell me about yourself, kid." Tyler chuckles. I roll my eyes and walk away from him, only for him to follow me. "You're stuck with me kid, get used to it." Tyler adds as he falls back onto the couch. "Find something else to do." I speak back. I kneel down and look through the books, seeing if there was anything interesting. "It's your loss, kid." He replies. I fight back the feeling of wanting to kill him and continue my search for a book.

I finally find a good book even though I've read it a million times it still gets me in my feels everytime. I smile and grab the book and make my way over to the couch where Tyler was sitting. He looks to me as I sit down but I ignore him and open up the book.
